Previously: With the unveiling of a new twist, our final 10 became five teams of two, each racers fate determined by their partner. In the end, Jaxon & TurkeyLover took home a joint first, meanwhile, Coolkat & Tyler93 finished in last. Fortunately for them, however, it was our first non-elimination leg of the season, keeping them in the competition. 10 remain, who will be eliminated tonight?
Now you are individuals again, it's truly anyone's game. Today, you will be flying from Durban airport to the city in Nairobi, in Kenya. Today, only two flights are heading to Nairobi, landing 30 minutes apart
Upon landing in Nairobi, players must race to the Kenya Railway Museum, where they will discover their first roadblock
In this roadblock, players must construct the track for a miniature train as it is in motion, however, there is only one piece to fill 10 gaps in the track. Switching the loose piece of track, players must get the train to the end of it's route. If the train falls off the track, they must start over. This roadblock can take between 5 and 40 minutes
After completing this roadblock, racers will head to the Uhuru Gardens; the place the Kenyan flag was first flown. Here, teams will face a detour, having a choice between two tasks:
Raise The Flag: Racers must first solve a word puzzle, rearranging letters to spell the word "Kibera". Once they have done this, they must hoist the weighted flags with the corresponding letters up the flagpole in the correct order to get their next clue. This task can take between 15 and 60 minutes
Draw The Flag: Teams will be shown a 30 second reel of the flag of Kenya, as well as surrounding countries Somalia, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania. Using supplies provided, racers must recreate all of these flags and name the country it belongs to. This task can take between 20 and 80 minutes
Once completing this, racers will be given the location of the pitstop outside Jamia Mosque. Due to surviving the non-elimination leg, Coolkat and Tyler93 will have to complete an additional task while here, which will set them back anything between 5 and 30 minutes
