IM SO OVER COVID

So they started sending free rapid tests home with the kids.
My kids have had 0 symptoms and were just fine.
tests were all negative
SEND my kids to school, get to work and get a call
"Rylee" (my daughter) has a stuffy nose she cant be here

so I have  to miss out on fucking days of work again, Shes super upset wants to be at school.

they are all vaccinated, they all have a negative test... BUT because its minus 20 and when she got in from being outside she has a stuffy nose. NO SCHOOL,,, Im soooo frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!

sawchuk55 you’ll join a mountain of parents doing the same thing. The quarantine rules are heavily flawed and are a steep contribution to learning gaps. I see them accumulate by the week.

I get a stuffy nose coming in from the cold myself. I also get it when it warms up and the snow mole happens..with that logic I guess I can’t work or go out all spring

Honestly this is disgusting, kids need to be in school and without masks for their social development. How are they supposed to learn to communicate if they're sat at home, and how are they supposed to learn to communicate if everyone has their faces covered.

yeah the schools keep pissing me off with this too. its like a kid cant be sick anymore without it being covid, the same thing happened to me and i told them they could drop her off at my house or they can send her on the bus home because her tests came back negative and im not picking her up because of a snuffy nose, they didn't know what to say to me and haven't given me an issue since
