imageI am absolutely dumbfounded at what went down tonight. Sure, Adam had a bad service, but this was really Adam’s first huge slip up. Marc has been consistently rough, and really fell apart tonight. I just don’t see why Marc is still there. We also saw some favorites fall with some big mistakes, and Jordan (who I’ve been consistently putting at the bottom) really proved that she maybe can cook after all!

8. Marc Quinones- Marc needs to go. I liked him in the beginning, but he really has been disappointing quite often, and this week was no exception. Not only is he messing up with food, but he’s also messing up communication. Sure, Adam failed to run things, but he was not NEARLY as bad as Marc tonight. Sigh.

7. Cody Candelario- Cody had a rough go this week. He just wasn’t great in service, and it was almost hard to watch at times. That being said, it’s good Marc is still on his team, because Marc will always go home over Cody. And even Amber has the potential to go before Cody. But after seeing Adam go home, it really shows that anyone is vulnerable, so I wouldn’t count anything out. Cody is low for all those reasons.

6. Jordan Savell- I can’t put Jordan at the bottom. She really proved herself in this dinner service, delivering some killer appetizers. I do still think she’s the weakest red team member, but she really grew tonight and might not be as close out the door as I expected.

5. Amber Lancaster- Amber had a fine episode today. Nothing to flashy, but nothing too disappointing either. The problem with Amber is that she really is hot and cold. Some episodes, she’s consistent, and others, she is a total outlier. So she remains in the middle for me.

4. Nikki Hanna- Nikki was really great in dinner service, but she did go 0-4 in the taste test challenge. Her palate is obviously not up to par, and that could be detrimental down the line. But right now, I think her dinner services are keeping her toward the top.

3. Declan Horgan- Declan, after this episode, may be the blue team’s only hope. Cody tanked today, Amber is inconsistent, and Marc is….well. Declan gets major props for hitting all four of his taste test foods. He has the best palate of the group, and that puts him this high for good reason.

2. Mary Lou Davis- The red team was a well-oiled machine between Mary Lou, Nikki, Jordan, and Kori tonight. Of the four, Jordan and Nikki still made mistakes either this season or this episode that put them lower, but Kori and Mary Lou absolutely killed it. That’s why they’re topping this list.

1. Kori Sutton- I couldn’t make this ranking without putting Kori at number one. She was an absolute rock-star in service. She is the person I’d trust most on the meat station, and I don’t see anyone else having a better single dinner service performance than hers in a long time. Now, she just has to keep up this consistency.

I can’t believe Cody dropped all the way from the top to the near bottom, but Marc is still there. It has to be Marc going home next right? It has to.
