so i was playing a frooks today and i realized just how boring and predictable they really are
the way the hoh is set up basically means if you get an alliance, you can just rage neg everybody else and your alliance will never loose HOH. Not to mention the F2 is more or less random and top 5 are all given payouts. This allows for little or no motivation to make a move. So thats why people can just join with the same premade over and over again and keep winning. Yall may hate people because they have mastered the premade strategy, but really, you should hate the way the game is set up (I know, a bit cliche, but its true. Dont hate the player, hate the game)
Here is my solutions
1. Simply switch the way HOHs and POVs work. Have a challenge for the HoH and have POV go to the top spammer. That way the more powerful prize can change and wont keep going to the same people over and over.
2. Prizes for top 2 ONLY! Most people say they should increase prizes for everybody, but thats a bunch of shit in my opinion. Giving prizes to only the top 2 will make people want to make moves, and make the games more interesting. But at the same time, increase prizes for the top 2. Maybe 35 Karma and 100T$ for first, and 10 Karma and 30T$ for second.
3. CHANGE THE GOD DAMN F2 STRUCTURE!!!!!!!! Make it so that it is actually like Big Brother, at Final 4, person who wins HoH is safe, and person who wins POV is given the sole vote to evict. Then while the F4 is happening, there would be the challenge for the final HoH. That person would evict one of the other 2 people, therefore establishing the final 2

i dont like this... i think our current frooks setup is good. you dont need premades at all. my whole first page of games i have done great in frooks and none of them were with premades, each time i joined and talked to new people and formed an alliance from scratch and made it successfully. its actually not hard to beat a premade, you just have to be smart about it
It is very easy to make it to the end without a premade if you play it right, and if you neg someone, that is taken into the algo as a neg for both players, so really the only one that can do so without repercussion is the current HoH, the final 2 schematic is fine, and I've turned around full games by spamming for HoH, taken out full premades with that ability, just learn to spam and practice comps. Besides the social aspect of the game, make a Skype for tengaged. That honestly helps so much. I subconsciously think less of an ally and take them less seriously, and they're easier for me to stab in the back if they're strictly private messaging me. Skype also allows for group conversation for information to be passed around faster. And quotes from Skype can't be made up.
I think randomize should change the structure for how f2 is decided as well.
Think the pay outs should change though and actually be more spread out to the top 5 instead of clumped to the winner. Gives the people that are able to slip into those high placements like 3rd, 4th, and 5th that didn't join with premades a karma payout. Its rare a premade of 5 always gets top 5. neworleanspelicans
I'm not sure. I definitely don't agree with challenges for hoh, but then I don't really like challenges much :P
I think the best solution would be taking out plussing/negging, especially negging entirely, and make everyone level when spamming, as there's more chance then of hohs flipping.
I dislike 1 basically be you'd have to be a challenge beast to win, so the TV Stars could crush noobs like us.
I dislike 2 because again, noobs like me join these things with what little T we have. Payouts is a great lifeline for us considering we never get HoH or PoV.
I LOVE 3 though, I totally agree the f2 thing is conpletley jacked and the wrong way to go.
If you play a good game this doesn't really matter. You also need to have people who have the BALLS to make moves. There's so many people on this site that don't have balls to make moves, so they let the premades run the games tbh. I actually play games the way they should, and join alone (knowing there's premades) and actually try my best in splitting them up whenever HoH comes my way. You just need to have people with the balls to make big moves.
- I think payouts should actually be handed out to everyone in jury. I'm not saying everyone in Jury should receive their money back, but I think they should get some sort of payout. Just surviving to jury is a tough game. You need to survive the instant eviction & 3 other evictions.
- The HoH/PoV thing, I'm not a fan of. I understand where you're coming from, but you need to understand that if this were to happen a premade of comp beasts can literally just join the game and literally dominate the game. I've never been good at competitions so the fact that if I want to win HoH is just to type really fast and hit send is great. Like I said, HoH's flip the whole game around...
few flaws with your logic...#1 any long time player knows that negging doesn't effect the game QUITE like ppl want you to believe...Also for ppl that know how to play they can still win HoH against large premades fairly easily again understanding how algo works lmao...It isn't like you and others try to make it out in all honesty...
Also I think what should happen is that you are no longer eligible to compete in the challenge once the "Vote for Eviction" timer happens. This way. Nobody is holding shit up by not doing the challenge last minute
For lower levels everyone is gonna say make payouts higher and I agree with them but for Tv stars and stuff I think the frooks payout you suggest would be cool also and I love the rest of this I would totally be interested in a game where a challenge could get you hoh and veto by talking lol. I don't think they should take away your health for winning a comp tho that's just dumb.
