I know that in my previous seasons I usually introduced the tributes in multiple episodes... but if I do that then my tags aren’t gonna work properly. Plus, I have all the backstories made anyway, so I thought I’d just show them all at once! Training and Interviews will be shown tomorrow night!
-𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝟭-
Rick Schroth (Male Tribute)
Age: 17
Rick is one of those career tributes that is completely over the top. Most careers usually are, but Rick is way more extreme than most extreme careers you usually see. I’m talking about psychopathic levels.
During the selection process, he used violent methods to beat his opponents, which even left a few hospitalized. There was plenty of debate as to whether to crown Rick as this year’s tribute or disqualify him for purposely injuring his opponents. However, the Capitol ultimately decided that they thought he’d make for great entertainment, so they allowed for Rick to advance.
Going into the arena, Rick is prepared to kill his opponents in the most violent methods he can think of. But will his opponents fight back with violent methods of their own?
Shimmer Renner (Female Tribute)
Age: 17
Shimmer has the physical abilities of any normal career her age, but what sets her apart from them is her intelligence. She is not only strong, but logical and tactical as well.
Shimmer played a lot of card games during her free time as she grew up. This helped to sharpen her mind as she trained for the Hunger Games. While most of her peers were obsessed with being the strongest in their class, she knew there were advantages to having brains to back up her brawn.
In the selection process, she easily won using tactics the Capitol had rarely seen from District 1, and as a result Shimmer immediately became a fan favorite. Shimmer has trained her whole life to compete in the Hunger Games, both physically and mentally. Will it be enough for her to win?

Mac Sacchetti (Male Tribute)
Age: 16
Mac has always been what some would say... competitive. He has been training for the games his whole life like every other career tribute, but he has always challenged his friends, and even people he doesn’t even know to competitions of all kinds. Whenever he loses, he becomes extremely aggressive. But when he wins, he always gloats in the loser’s face.
When Mac was lucky enough to win this year’s selection process, he began cheering and applauding for himself for a full 60 minutes, constantly telling all of his opponents to “suck it”. Mac wants nothing more than to win the Hunger Games, but will he realize that it’s more than just a silly game, and rather a fight for his life?
Emily Sobol (Female Tribute)
Age: 16
Emily is what most people call a show off. She loves making herself look good in front of anyone, and usually attempts to do so whenever she can. When someone mentions archery, she demonstrates what she can do with a bow, even when no one asks her to. When someone mentions strength, she lifts up the heaviest item she can find (that she knows she can lift).
When Emily won the selection process this year, she was obviously ecstatic. She constantly smiled for the crowd and even bowed a few times as if she was in a theatre performance.
Going into the arena, Emily is determined to do whatever she can to make herself look even more like a strong tribute. But what Emily doesn’t seem to grasp is that strong tributes tend to be targeted early...

Logan Glazer (Male Tribute)
Age: 13
Despite his age, Logan seems to be very independent. Before he was reaped, he usually spent his time alone, and and never usually interacted a lot with others... not even his own parents. He learned how to take care of himself at a very young age seeing as his parents were busy all the time.
When Logan was reaped for the games, he was obviously scared... I mean, what kind of 12 year old kid wouldn’t be? But he believes that if he can stay away from the other tributes for as long as he can, he may be able to survive. Will this hypothesis be correct, or will he need to rely on others for his survival?
Kaay Kearns (Female Tribute)
Age: 12
Kaay is a quiet kid. She is extremely shy, and suffers from severe anxiety. However, her happiest memories are with her older brother, whom she spent a lot of time with when she was a kid. Sadly, he passed away when she was only 9 years old from an incurable disease.
When Kaay was with her brother, she felt like she didn’t even have anxiety. Now that he’s gone, she has had very little happy memories without him. Her worst memory of all was the fear she felt when she heard her name called by the District 3 escort.
Kaay was very clingy to her brother, but never wanted to be around anyone else. However, she knows she might have to in order to survive. What will she do when she is forced to decide in the arena?

Larry “LJ” Medin Jr. (Make Tribute)
Age: 16
LJ is the son of a famous fisherman from District 4. Larry Medin Sr. is famous for catching hundreds of fish for his district to cook and eat, all in one day. He did this in his youth, and today he is 43. He wanted his son to follow the same path as him, but instead Larry Jr. was obsessed with being a part of the hunger games.
Though his father kept telling him that he didn’t want him to be involved at all (he was one of the few parents in District 4 who opposed the games) his son trained anyway. This year, he managed to win the selection process, and his father was both upset and furious. He acted as if... he expected his son was doomed to die.
LJ just wants his father to be proud of him, and wants him to see that he’ll be great in the games. But will it occur to him that maybe his father was on to something?
Tryffiny Parnas (Female Tribute)
Age: 17
Tryffiny has been one of the toughest girls in her school ever since the second grade. She has picked fights with many of her stronger classmates, and not even the strongest could defeat her. However, there’s more to Tryffiny than just her brute strength.
Tryffiny cares deeply about having reliable friends. She knows she can beat just about anyone in a fight, but she believes that if she doesn’t have people she can trust and confide, she’ll be miserable for her whole life. She wants to be more than just the girl who’s good at beating everyone’s asses.
Tryffiny managed to win this year’s selection process, and in doing so immediately wanted to know who the other tributes, specifically careers, would be. She hopes to create lasting bonds with certain tributes, believing she can’t win without them. But if she trusts the wrong person, will she be as good as dead?

Lawrence Immel (Male Tribute)
Age: 18
Lawrence is famous for being District 5’s first openly gay tribute. For years, even before District 5 was a career district, all of their known candidates were straight (or at least... they never admitted they weren’t). This had always been odd since every other district seemed to have an LGBT tribute every now and then. But this year, Lawrence won the selection process after applying for the first time with his boyfriend, and the citizens of District 5 were a bit shocked to see them together. Lawrence immediately became a famous face in all districts, and even non-career districts seem to like him.
Lawrence claims that while he’s honored to have the title, his sexuality really shouldn’t matter inside the arena. But the Panem media can’t seem to stop talking about it... so will it somehow come to play while Lawrence fights for his life?
Lindsay Garlitz (Female Tribute)
Age: 15
Lindsay is a career who doesn’t usually think things through before doing them. This could be because she’s abnormally younger than typical career tributes. Therefore... the odds were against her in the selection process. However... she still somehow managed to pull it off.
District 5 was really confused to see her win, especially after witnessing her speak onstage 7 feet away from the microphone. And they don’t seem to have too much confidence in her going into the games. But can she get past her lack of common sense and prove them wrong?

Dizzle McGuire (Male Tribute)

Frangilla Hopkinson (Female Tribute)
Age: 17
Dizzle and Frangilla are a comedy duo. They both became fast friends in school given their funny names, and together they perform comedy skits for their district to enjoy. They have a very loved reputation.
There was a bunch of audible gasps when Frangilla was reaped. And then Dizzle, not wanting her to go down alone, volunteered as well. Dizzle could never even think of entertaining people without his partner, and now they both are in one of the biggest works of entertainment ever. Will they both be able to put on a funny show for the audience before they’re permanently separated?

Kyle Berthoff (Male Tribute)

Kyla Berthoff (Female Tribute)
Age: 13
Kyle and Kyla are twins. They both have almost identical personalities and spend most of their time together. They never usually leave each other’s sight... but they are bullied constantly in school because of it.
When Kyla was reaped, everyone immediately knew who the male tribute would be as well. Several boys made jokes as to how Kyle was going to volunteer, and even though Kyla made signals for him not to, he did anyway. Both twins are quite weak when it comes to combat, but they’ll both have one thing the other tributes won’t: each other.

Jack “Yawn” Born (Male Tribute)
Age: 14
Jack was given the nickname “Yawn” because whenever he talks, he usually talks for hours. He often puts people to sleep. He was generally disliked by his peers, and he never seemed to have any friends despite his good grades and gentle personality.
When Yawn was reaped, he never said a word. As he was watch his life flash before his eyes, he realized how bored he made his peers with his constant talking. Ever since he was reaped, he has yet to speak a word. Will this silent strategy help him get far?
Bliss Celant (Female Tribute)
Age: 15
Bliss is a girl who, despite her name, is always in a bad mood. She is very difficult to get along with, and is usually rude to anyone who dare says a word to her. She never opens up to anyone.
Bliss gave everyone staring at her the finger as she walked on stage after being reaped. She doesn’t care about what others think of her, and she isn’t afraid of death. Because of this, the capitol loves her. But just because she’s not afraid doesn’t mean she’s good at combat... we’ll have to wait and see what she can do.

Xanthos Gasko (Male Tribute)
Age: 16
Xanthos has always been described by his friends and family as “not mentally healthy”. He has occasional episodes where he seems like a completely different... and worse... person. He’s usually pretty decent to be around, but when he changes... it’s like he’s on the verge of doing something horrible.
This side of Xanthos came out as soon as he was reaped. He began fighting the peacekeepers, and at one point managed to grab one of their guns. Luckily they managed to subdue him before he could use it, but he had been pointing it at the crowd, which scared most of District 9’s residents.
What will happen when this side of Xanthos is unleashed in the arena? What is to become of those who cross his path?
Rach Argon (Female Tribute)
Age: 15
Rach is an active roleplayer and cosplayer. She plays things such as D&D with her nerd friends all the time, and she always dresses up for the occasion. And of course, she loves anime.
Rach was obviously scared when she was reaped, but she believed that maybe the attack tactics she learned in D&D could help her in some way. We’ll have to see if playing D&D really can make someone cool.

Rusty Hanser (Male Tribute)
Age: 14
Rusty is known for being handy with machines. Most of the people he’s around usually live on a farm and aren’t used to relying on technology, so they always go to him whenever they’re having an issue with one of their devices.
Rusty knew that this would be a strength for him going into the games. He is scared, but he does have his wits. Can he use his mechanical knowledge to get far?
Drea Elion (Female Tribute)
Age: 16
Drea has always relied on her instincts to get her through life. She was raised on a farm, and was taught how to hunt at an early age. She usually goes with her gut when she needs to make an important decision, and it usually works for her.
Drea knows that going into the games, she’ll have a few advantages. Her hunting skills will definitely help her, but some fear she may be too reliant on her impulses. Will they lead her in the right direction, or will they get her killed?

Lime Spiers (Male Tribute)
Age: 12
Lime is described as one of the sweetest boys ever. He loves candy, and he always eats it with a smile on his face. He loves his parents, and gives them hugs every day. A kid like this doesn’t belong in the hunger games.
Sadly... the Capitol has no heart, and Lime was reaped. His innocence is a huge disadvantage for him, but his district seems to be outraged that he’s in the games to begin with. Maybe he’ll win via sponsor gifts?
Malibu Downing (Female Tribute)
Age: 14
Malibu is currently still trying to figure out who she is as a person. She’s still going through her teenage self discovery phases, and she has no idea what she wants to do with her life.
When she was reaped, she felt like she would never figure out who she is. But then, Malibu came to a conclusion. She determined that even if she dies in this arena, she can still spend the little time she has left trying to figure out her identity without having to worry about the depressing factors of life. Yes, people will be trying to kill her, but she hopes she’ll have some time to herself before that happens. She believes then... and only then... she’ll be free to think about who she is.

Aidan Phillips (Male Tribute)
Age: 17
Ess Clemente (Female Tribute)
Age: 17
Aidan and Ess knew nothing about each other before this year’s games. They both had zero classes in school together and didn’t even know that the other existed. But then... luck brought them together in the form of the reaping ceremony.
Ess was reaped, and then Aidan was too. Both were obviously terrified, but they were able to keep their heads. They both glanced at each other, not thinking much of the other. Then, later as they arrived in the Capitol, they received some shocking news. As the Capitol collected samples of their DNA, they learned that Aidan and Ess are half-siblings.
Neither Ess nor Aidan had ever met their father. But as it turns out, their father was a man who was admired by hundreds of women. After learning the truth about their father, Aidan and Ess then started to form a strong bond with each other. Will they learn to strengthen their chances in the games by teaming up with each other?
