It looks like it has the most basic horror movie formula ever: a seemingly innocent and popular game/item curses a group of friends and they have to find a way to undo the curse before it kills them. Literally such a basic ass premise. $10 says they visit a traumatized survivor of the curse in the past at some point in the film.
If they wanted to make a horror movie built around tarot cards I’m sure they could’ve at least come up with something a bit more creative than that. The movie currently has a 5% on Rotten Tomatoes, and I’m not surprised at all.
