The chefs were challenged to make a dish that would appeal to a young crowd. They each had to make and serve a dish that dozens of children would enjoy. The children picked their favorite dishes, and the winner of the challenge ended up being Dani. She decided to take Cleo with her on her fun-filled reward.
During a special family night dinner service, Chef Ramsay had each chef take a turn as his Sous Chef. While Ryan and Chris failed to portray the leadership qualities Chef Ramsay was looking for, Zlata and Dani had respectable runs. However, the strongest leadership qualities came from Cleo, who inarguably had the strongest run as Sous Chef.
Despite their strong leadership skills, Zlata and Cleo struggled on the fish and garnish stations respectively. During elimination, they were named as the night’s nominees. In the end, Chef Ramsay decided to send home Zlata, ending her dream of becoming Head Chef at El Mirage in Atlantic City and winning Hell’s Kitchen.

Chef Ramsay: Instead, our Hell’s Kitchen waiters beside me will be cooking a stunning salmon dish. The only problem is… they’re not chefs. They aren’t familiar with how to properly prepare salmon. That’s where you come in! Instead of cooking, you’ll be teaching and coaching one of these 4 waiters how to properly make the dish. You are not allowed to touch any ingredients or cooking utensils, but your waiter will listen to and do whatever you tell them to. Chef Ramsay: Young lady… you were the youngest chef in this entire competition at only 21… but at such a young age, you’ve produced food and leadership that suggests you’ve been cooking longer than you actually have been. You’ve been a resilient competitor in this competition, and that is why you absolutely deserve a spot in the finals. Congratulations!

【Cleo, while looking visibly disappointed, comforts Ryan as he collapses out of happiness. She, Ryan and Dani all share a group hug.】
Chef Ramsay: Ryan, from the very start of the competition you’ve been one of the most level headed chefs here. You’ve had bumps, but overall I could just sense you getting stronger and stronger. And ultimately, I do see a great leader in you. That’s why I’ve ultimately decided that you deserve a spot in the finals. Well done, young man!
Ryan: Thank you so much, chef!
Chef Ramsay: Cleo… come here my darling.
【Cleo walks up to Chef Ramsay with a smile on her face, but also visibly trying to hold back tears.】
Chef Ramsay: Cleo… I’ve pushed you harder than anyone in this competition because right at the start, I could see that you had great leadership skills. You have one hell of a palate, you’re an amazing team player, and best of all you know how to command a kitchen. However, you’re just not quite ready to be my head chef.
Cleo: Thank you for this opportunity, chef. I’m truly a better chef because of this experience. I’ve learned so much from you, and I cannot express how thankful I am, chef.
【Chef Ramsay then hugs Cleo.】
Chef Ramsay: Do me a favor… keep that jacket. I don’t want it. And don’t you dare stop.
Cleo: Not in a million years, chef. I’ll cook until I die.
【Cleo, looking a bit happier now, says goodbye to Chef Ramsay and the finalists, and leaves Hell’s Kitchen in good spirits.】

Chef Ramsay: There’s only one service left to determine who’s going to Atlantic City… now, you both should start thinking about what kind of menus you want to serve in the final dinner service. For now though… enjoy the moment! Go and get some rest. Trust me… you’re going to need it. And once again congratulations!
Dani and Ryan head upstairs for bed. As Chef Ramsay walks up to his office, he narrates a comment on Chris and Cleo’s eliminations.
“Both Chris and Cleo have drive and skill that not a lot of chefs have. There’s no doubt in my mind that they’re gonna have great culinary futures, but unfortunately, those futures will not involve El Mirage.”
Chef Ramsay hangs Chris’s jacket, and his picture burns up.
Despite Chef Ramsay not having a jacket to hang, Cleo’s picture also burns up.
The final 2 plan their menus and pick their brigades. Familiar faces will return to help the final 2 chefs… but will they help them or sabotage them?
It’s Dani vs. Ryan in the final dinner service. Both will give it their all, but only one will win the Head Chef position at El Mirage in Atlantic City. The door to this amazing opportunity will only open for one chef. It’s a season finale you won’t want to miss.
