The chefs were given a hands on approach for choosing ingredientsโฆ live ingredients. After handling the livestock, the chefs cooked their dishes, but in the end it was the Red Team that ended up victorious.
In dinner service, Mac was in charge of both the garnish AND appetizer station, but failed to stay on top of things. Zlata in the Blue Kitchen and Corrin in the Red Kitchen also struggled on their respective meat stations. Despite their mistakes, service went smoothly and both teams were named as joint winners. However, they were both still tasked with naming one nominee for elimination.
The Blue Team nominated Mac while the Red Team nominated Corrin. When all was said and done, Chef Ramsay decided to eliminate Mac for his poor management of 2 stations, ending his dream of becoming the Head Chef at El Mirage in Atlantic City and winning Hellโs Kitchen.
The chefs wake up bright and early for their next challenge. They go downstairs to see Chef Ramsay standing in front of what appears to be a giant casino table with a multi-sided die in the middle of it.
Chef Ramsay: Today, I want to see what kind of dishes you can come up with when we leave it up to the roll of a dice. Chefsโฆ today we will be playing Hellโs Kitchen Craps! Hereโs how it will workโฆ you will each roll this giant die on this Craps table, and then it will land on a letter. You must then choose an ingredient that starts with that letter. All the ingredients your team chooses MUST be incorporated in your individual dish somehow. Each team will use a total of 7 ingredients, so 2 of you from each team will roll twice.
The teams roll the Craps die and choose their dishes. Surprisingly, the teams all get the exactly ingredients they want. Both teams seemed to have lucked out in this challenge, but they still must now cook their dishes.

The chefs cook their dishes. There are hardly any problems. When time is up and the dishes have been plated, the Red Team is told that they must drop one of their dishes due to them having an extra member. They ultimately decide to drop Cleoโs Dish.
Chef Ramsay has called for a special guest judge to taste each dish today. They can award a point to the Red Team, the Blue Team, or both.
Up first is Ryan vs. Chris. Hereโs what the guest judge thought.
Ryanโs Dish: I love what youโve done with the ingredients. Itโs a very creative way to incorporate them.
Chrisโs Dish: The Dish is delicious. But it feels a little tooโฆ safe.
Guest Judge: I have to give a point to the Blue Team.

Daniโs Dish: Itโs a little too undercooked for my liking, other than that itโs delicious.
Corrinโs Dish: Wowโฆ this dish is very smart. Youโve plated it beautifully, and youโve cooked it to perfection. Itโs a very sophisticated dish.
Guest Judge: I have to give a point to the Red Team here.

Gigiโs Dish: The flavor combinations donโt really work for me. They seem a little to exotic for my taste.

Zlataโs Dish: I love how rustic this dish is. Youโve done very well with the plating, and itโs cooked properly as well.
Jorgeโs Dish: I think you could have used a little more seasoningโฆ it tastes a little bland.

The challenge has ended in a tie. In order to break the tie, Chef Ramsay calls for the guest judge to taste all the point earning dishes again and deem which one is the best.
The guest Judge tastes Ryan, Corrin, Lee and Zlataโs dishes a second time and makes a decision.
Guest Judge: I think the best dish here is definitelyโฆ
Chef Ramsay: Red Team, well done! For your reward today, I have arranged for you all to go deep sea diving! Youโll be taken out to sea in a luxury submarine, and then youโll get to dress up in scuba gear and explore the wonders of the ocean! Go get changed, you leave shortly!
The Red Team goes upstairs to get ready for their day of scuba diving.
Chef Ramsay: Blue Teamโฆ while the Red Team is out deep sea diving, youโll all be stuck here diving in barrels of fresh scallops. I have several shipments coming in today that need to be properly prepared for service tonight. Sous Chef Pierre will teach you all how to properly prepare them. Halfway through, heโll make you all a revolting lunch. Go upstairs, youโll be called down soon.

Appetizers start off shakily. Ryan sends in 2 uneven portions of risotto, but pulls it together for the rest of service. Jorge sends in 1 soupy risotto, but manages to stay on top of appetizers for the rest of services as well.
When entrees are ordered, however, Jorge has different issues.
With Jorge having a hard time with garnishes, the Blue Team manages to get all their garnishes out with only 1 mistake from Zlata with an extra garnish.
In the Red Teamโs fish station, Chris sends in 1 raw salmon while Corrin sends in 2 raw servings of scallops.
On the meat station, Lee sends in a raw rack of lamb. However, Cleo is having more issues.
In the Blue Kitchen, the meat and fish stations are doing just fine. Gigi only sends in 1 overcooked wellington while Dani only sends in 1 raw halibut.
The Red Kitchenโs fish station is having issues, however.
Chef Ramsay: Hey! Corrin! Look at thisโฆ I have ANOTHER raw set of scallops! Just touch those! Theyโre rubber! You can throw them on the ground and theyโll fucking bounce!
Corrin: Iโll refire, chef.
Chef Ramsay: Come on, the fish station is supposed to be your strength! What the fuck has happened to you!
Corrin: I just need to wake up, chef!
Chef Ramsay: Wake up? Why did you even fall asleep in the first place? Fuck me!
Chef Ramsay: Tonight, one team managed to replicate the success they had last night while the other team switched off again. The winning team tonight is obviously the Blue Team. You had very few mistakes tonight and everyone was in sync. Well done.
Blue Team: Thank you, chef.
Chef Ramsay: Red Teamโฆ you were a complete mess. We had major problems in nearly every station. It was absolutely pathetic. Especially this late in the competition. I was wondering whether youโre service last night was a fluke, and it turns outโฆ it was.Now, I want you to do something youโre very familiar withโฆ have a meeting amongst yourselves, and decide on 2 individuals youโd be better off without. Now piss off.
The Red Team goes upstairs to discuss who should go up.
The three biggest names are Corrin, Cleo and Jorge. Everyone thinks Jorge should go up because of his confusion with garnishes, to which Jorge agrees. However, some are split between Corrin and Cleo, stating that they both did awful on fish and meat respectively. They do, however, eventually reach a decision.
The Red Team meets with Chef Ramsay for elimination while the Blue Team watches.
Chef Ramsay: Blue Team, well done.
Blue Team: Thank you, chef.

Jorge: That would be myself, chef. I held us back tonight on garnishes, and I definitely could have been better.

Chef Ramsay asks Jorge if heโs incapable of running 2 stations, but Jorge says he is in fact capable and mainly had issues with garnish tonight. Jorge says in his plea that heโs embarrassed of how tonight turned out but still believes himself to be one of the strongest leaders here, and that he still has a lot to show to Chef Ramsay.
Chef Ramsay asks if Corrin has given up, to which she replies that she hasnโt and has just lost a little confidence and that she can gain it back. Corrin says in her plea that all she wants to do is prove herself to be the leader that she knows she is and to be what Chef Ramsay wants her to be.
Chef Ramsay: Okay. The person leaving Hellโs Kitchen isโฆ
Chef Ramsay: Listen carefullyโฆ you have definitely had your moments here in Hellโs Kitchen. You are one hell of a chef, letโs get that clear. However, you need to open up a little more. Because right now, young lady, I know that you are not ready to be my Head Chef in Atlantic City. Promise me, though, that you wonโt stop.
Corrin: I promise I wonโt stop, chef. Never.
Chef Ramsay: Good. Now pleaseโฆ give me your jacket.
Corrin takes her jacket off and hands it to Chef Ramsay.
Chef Ramsay: Head up. Youโve got a lot to be proud of.
Corrin then hugs Chef Ramsay, says goodbye to her team and leaves Hellโs Kitchen.

The chefs then head up to their dorms for bed. As Chef Ramsay walks up to his office, he narrates a comment on Corrinโs elimination.
โCorrin started this competition strong, but tonight she admitted to me that she wasnโt confident in herself. If she doesnโt believe in herself, thereโs no reason for me to believe in her either.โ
Chef Ramsay hangs up Corrinโs jacket, and her picture burns up.
