The chefs were tested in a challenge that forced them to adapt with new ingredients. While some chefs failed to live up to the challenge, others thrived. However, it was Zlata that ultimately won the challenge for her team.
In dinner service, both teams failed to meet Chef Ramsayโs standards. In the Red Kitchen, Ricardo failed on Apps and Lee failed on meat. In the Blue Kitchen, Zlata failed on fish and Gigi failed on meat. Ultimately, Chef Ramsay decided there would be no winning team.
At elimination, the nominees were Zlata, Gigi, Lee and Ricardo. Chef Ramsay ultimately decided to eliminate Ricardo, ending his dream of becoming the Head Chef at El Mirage in Atlantic City and winning a quarter of a million dollars.
Chef Ramsay: Today, I wanted you to work with fresh ingredientsโฆ and this as fresh as they come! In that pen, we are keeping a cow, lamb, pig, chicken and duck. These are the dishes you will be making today. Before you do that, howeverโฆ I want you to decide amongst your team who will be making what dish. Thenโฆ youโll all attempt to put the animal representing the dish youโre making back in its proper pen. The team that manages to do that in the fastest time will win a 5 minute advantage when cooking your dishes.
The chefs decide to divide the dishes accordingly:

Pork - Corrin and Zlata
Chicken - Cleo and Mac
Beef - Lee and Ryan
Duck - Chris and Dani
Itโs a close race, but the Blue Team ends up putting the animals back in their pens the fastest. They receive the 5 minute advantage.

The Blue Team is given 45 minutes to cook their dishes while the Red Team receives 40 minutes. Eventually, both teams have their dishes ready to present.
Chef Ramsay: Rightโฆ Iโll be judging your dishes head to head and will award a point to the dish I deem as better. The first team that reaches 3 points wins the challenge.

Jorgeโs Dish: Itโs cooked beautifully, but it needs a bit more seasoning.
Gigiโs Dish: Itโs very rustic, I like that. The cook is perfect, as well.

Mac manages to pull it together and sends out the remaining appetizers for the Blue Team.
In the Red Team, entrees are leaving the kitchen. However, Cleo sent in one raw serving of scallops and Lee sent in two raw salmons. Jorge also sent in a raw wellington while Corrin sent in 2 raw lambs.
In the Blue Kitchen, however, things are not going well. Zlata has sent in 3 raw servings of lamb in a row, and is attempting to send in her fourth.
Chef Ramsay calls for both teams to meet with him after service.

The Red Team comes to a decision rather quickly. They decide that Corrin messed up the most tonight on the meat station. Corrin doesnโt protest the decision, knowing itโs true.
The Blue Team is torn between Mac and Zlata. Some say that Mac should go up for his poor control on the garnish and appetizer stations. However, some argue that Zlata should go up for her inconsistencies on the meat station, and due to Mac being a stronger chef overall. However, the team does eventually come to a decision.
