This year was Taylor's. No doubt about it. Midnights was an amazing album and truthfully I could have put literally another 3-4 on this countdown. Karma, Youre On Your Own Kid, BIgger Than The Whole Sky, Anti Hero, all had such contention to be on here. The album was amazing and I am so happy Taylor is back with this type of music vibe. Now this song was not originally my favorite but honestly to me this song gives me Come Back... Be Here which is one of my favorite Taylor songs... but this is like a break up song for when you are an adult. A lot of old Taylor break up songs are a younger teen, early 20s vibe but now that I am getting older I appreciate more of this sounds and a grown up fuck you kinda break up song. This song was amazing from the background to that final verse before the chorus... go off sis. Taylor thank you for 2022 sis.

AHHH BOP. Honestly this song was going to be number 1 for most of the year. I have to say this song was probably my number 1 for the better half of the first half of this year. Honestly when Tate released You Broke Me First, I thought she was gonna just sing songs like that, sad and kinda mopey. When she released this song I was SO pleasantly surprised. Tate is definitely my favorite new artist this year. A great album debut.

Little Mix - Between Us
I am writing this on the last day of this year just reflecting on 2022. My favorite group and artist I finally got to see. Little Mix, the last tour and I traveled all the way to London and Ireland to see them. I got to see them as a trio, Ironically with my two best friends as a trio. I did cry at this song during the concert. I just have so much of a connection to this song. I love this song and it sucks to know the girls are apart for now but I know they are coming back eventually together. Im excited to see their solo careers but I just think this was such a good song for the fans. The shoutouts to the old songs, Sweet Melody, Wings. Power.. and more. I just truly felt the girls and this music video and the memories of the past 10 years <3 I wanna just thank these girls for getting me through it and I just am so thankful the opportunities I took this year to see them. Little Mix Forever.

Mimi Webb - House on Fire
Mimi is definitely one of my favorite new artists I discovered this year. Her, Tate and Madison Beer are among some of my new favorites! Mimi's EP was sooo good that she released last year and this song was such a bop. This song was a great summer jam for me and I actually thought this was potentially my number 1 song for a while for this year!

Taylor Swift - Lavender Haze
Are you guys in the Haze with me? For some reason I just had a connection to this track. I loved the meaning of the term of Lavender Haze. In the 1950s when you fell in love they stated you weren't in the honeymoon phase but you were in a Lavender Haze. I loved the imagery of this song, and the song was such a good opener. Probably my fav Track 1 off any album of Taylor's. I have a Lavender Haze sweatshirt I got for Xmas and I love it. After hearing this track I had such a great feeling about Midnights that good girl Taylor was back!

I just love a good ass fuck you type of song. By far the best song of 2022 to work out to. I just found this song to be such a fucking bop. Ava honestly is pretty underrated for the shit she puts out because shes kinda a slay. The music video was quite something.... but do u sis.
