How WWE Should (Have) Book(ed) Dolph Ziggler's Face Turn Nov 5, 2017: Hello, I am Sparkly and this is How WWE Should Book where I take an angle from now to the future and challenge WWE to do it better because I'm a smart-ass, *ding* Today we book the face turn of Dolph Ziggler.
Now you may be asking how it could be possible to turn him face at this point. My answer to that is... turn him into an American-made superstar, who absolutely hates how Jinder Mahal treats anyone but his own country's people, heck, you can even have Ziggler call Mahal "racist." So, when would this run start? I would have it start today. We are on the lead-up to Survivor Series and it is announced that there will be a WWE Championship match between Jinder Mahal and AJ Styles on Smackdown. Mahal wins (obviously with help from Singhs) and after the match, he calls AJ Styles a piece of American scum *National Anthem plays* Out comes Dolph Ziggler in red white and blue gear. He says he made fun of gimmicky entrances, but this wasn't a gimmick. This was the good old USA at it's finest. And Jinder Mahal was just a racist champion. So, the next week, triple threat match, no DQ, Mahal vs Ziggler vs Styles, WWE Championship. And, to everyone's surprise, I would have Dolph Ziggler win after hitting his new finisher, the Flag Wave, he picks his opponent up sideways and swings him over and over into the corner, 1, 2, 3. Dolph Ziggler, for the first time ever, is the WWE Champion. At Survivor Series, believe it or not, I would have Dolph Ziggler stand toe to toe with Brock Lesnar, and I think it could go a solid 10 minutes. Some good back and forth, multiple finishers, and a shooting star press to end it all off, with a big win for the Beast. After Survivor Series, Mahal cashes in his rematch clause for the title at the upcoming Roadblock PPV. On Smackdown, Mahal beats Ziggler to choose the stipulation and, of course, believe it or not, he chooses the Punjabi Prison. Now the Punjabi Prison in its current state... sucks. But, first of all, if you could get a sky cam, that would help. Also, ALLOW PINFALLS AND SUBMISSIONS. Climbing bamboo is not a match, it's pretty much a hobby. So you can win by pin, submission, or escape. And, to put that new rule up and cement it there, I would have the win go to Ziggler via submission with a cool spot. I would have Ziggler escape a door, and drag Mahal's foot into it, it closes on Mahal's foot, and then Ziggler does an Ankle Lock, Jinder taps and Ziggler retains, no stupid Khali return in sight. Then, leading up to the Royal Rumble, John Cena returns to face Dolph Ziggler for the title. Face vs face, really straight forward, no monkey business, pure wrestling from 2 of the best. And in the end, John Cena wins the title with an Avalanche AA. From there on, Dolph Ziggler's next feud would probably be... Rusev, while Cena deals with his WWE Title. How WWE Should Have Booked New Age Outlaw's Tag Team Title Run in 2014 Nov 4, 2017: Hello, I am Sparkly and this is How WWE Should Have Booked where I take an angle from the past and book it better because I'm a smartass. *ding* Today, we book the New Age Outlaws tag team title reign in 2014. How would I have booked it? I wouldn't have... goodbye, everyon- Oh, I guess you want more than that, my pleasure.
We kick this reign off at the Royal Rumble 2014, like in real life, but the Brotherhood are not the tag team champions at that time. Instead, probably around Survivor Series, I would have Rhodes and Goldust drop the belts to... The Shield. The Shield barely pick up the gold with help from Dean Ambrose and take it to the Rumble. However, with help from steel chairs and the rest of DX, the New Age Outlaws pick up the Tag Team Championships. The next night on Raw, Reigns and Rollins cash in their rematch clauses for the titles in a No Holds Barred match, but that helps NAO even more, which leads to the very brief WWE return of... Chyna! Chyna helps DX to even the odds against the Shield and New Age Outlaws retain. Then, at Elimination Chamber 2014, I would have a 6 Man Tag Team Chamber. Still 1 person per pod, but the last team with someone inside the Chamber walk out Tag Team Champions. It would be... Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Cody Rhodes... and a returning Ted DiBiase, reforming Legacy. I would have the Outlaws win, with the final 2 being DiBiase and Gunn. And then, finally, at Wrestlemania XXX, I would have a fatal 4 way tag team championship match. NAO, Shield, Legacy 2, and the Usos. In the end, I would have Legacy win as Rhodes pins Jey Uso, leading to the final tag team title run of Legacy, with Orton joining their side, and Rhodes and DiBiase getting involved with Evolution vs Shield.
