Hello, I am Sparkly and this is How WWE Should Book where I take an angle from now to the future and challenge WWE to do it better because I'm a smart-ass, *ding* Today we book the return of Mr. Monday Nights, Rob Van Dam.
OK, first question, when should RVD return? I would have him probably do the simplest one you can. Have him return in the 2018 Royal Rumble. I would have the #1 spot end up going to his former tag team partner, Kane. Have the fire interrupt the rules (because everyone knows the Rumble rules by now) and Kane walks down as the #1 entrant. He says that no one in that locker room can beat his dominance- One of a Kind! Out comes Rob Van Dam, entering yet another rumble match in his career, at #2. Skip to the end of the match, the final 4, Kane on his last legs, RVD on his last legs, Sami Zayn... and Rich Swann. 4th Sami Zayn, 3rd Kane, leaving Swann and RVD as the final 2. Swann goes for a hurricanrana, but Van Dam gets a powerbomb onto the apron, frog splash, Rob Van Dam is going to Wrestlemania. Since Mania is still a Smackdown PPV away (yes, I am putting him on Smackdown) have him instigate a feud with 2nd place in the rumble, Rich Swann, for the Wrestlemania spot. Have Rob Van Dam fight a match with... James Ellsworth, why not, it looks like RVD is gonna crush easy, but then, can you handle this? Out comes Rich Swann, Van Dam is distracted, looks at the entry way, turns around, No Chin Music, 1, 2, 3. Swann cost Van Dam the easiest match of his career. This leads to a steel cage match at Elimination Chamber. Swann almost has him, he climbs up the cage, but then... Rockstar Spud runs down. There are big rumors that Spud is coming to the Cruiserweight Division for WWE, so have him debut here, he scares Swann down the cage, Van Daminator by RVD, climbs out the door, he is still going to Wrestlemania. The WWE Champion going into Wrestlemania... John Cena.
I know, I know, wait wait wait, don't hurt my family, they have nothing to do with this, but John Cena is the most logical for being the WWE Champion, with the rumors of him beating Jinder at the Rumble. So, at Wrestlemania, Van Dam vs Cena and... I would have Cena wi- NO DONT HURT ME PLEASE WAIT! You cant ruin a 2 month reign with a guy who has had 4 matches before this Wrestlemania. So, on the Smackdown after Chamber, Van Dam vs AJ Styles, RVD has the upper hand, but suddenly, WABBLE DOO, out comes Cena, AA, Styles pins, 123. So at Wrestlemania, I would... have Cena turn heel and beat RVD. Rob has the upper hand, going for the frog splash, Cena rolls out, and BAM, referee attacked from behind by the Usos. Cena grabs a chair, BANG, right to RVD. AA, slow count, 1... 2... 3. Cena retains.
