Well I workout 4 times a week.
Pretty much I looked up on youtube to see how the workouts are done. Then I went to the gym and learned the moves (You don't wanna be doing it wrong, it can fuck up your muslces).. It's good to start with not a lot of weight because you wanna learn the moves first, then you add weight slowly each time more and more.
I usually work out for about an hour or an hour and 30 mins. Sometimes I do running as well because you can't forget about cardio. (Cardio is super important in my opinion - for belly fat loss especially)
But yeah, learn about 3-4 exercises for each part of the body.. (Chest, Biceps,Triceps...) and pretty much do these exercises.
People usually combine
1) Biceps and back in one day
2)Triceps and chest
3)Legs
4)Shoulders
I do abs pretty much every day + at least 10 mins of cardio before the workout to get more pumped.
You don't need a personal trainer trust me, you just should do a lot of research on youtube on exercises :). If you really want to change your body you will do the research and start doing it :D.. + You can ask people in the gym (that are working out) to help you with some exercises.. That is what I did and people always helped me.
+ if you have a lot of mass, try to do a lot of freeletics workout, it's really good for body.
