First off, i have been waiting for a brains vs. brawn season for awhile now, so I'm excited to see it! The first big problem i have with the season is the addition of the "beauty" tribe. I don't get how "beauty" is relevant to Survivor. It's 39 days of no showering, no brushing your teeth, no personal hygiene care whatsoever. Jeff said this season would test 3 attributes necessary for Survivor. I don't see how beauty is a crucial attribute. I think a better tribe would be a "social" tribe. Then all 3 areas of the game would be covered: physical, strategic, and social. It would be a test to see which attribute comes out on top. My next problem is the season really isn't testing which attribute is best. When half of the contestants on the brawn and brains tribe could be on beauty, the beauty tribe basically has nothing special about them. There are also some beauty and brain tribe members who could be on brawn. Too many contestants fit each category. I think the cast is going to be great, and i have high hopes for the season. I feel like the season could have been set up a little better though.

Obviously I've never played and i keep hearing terms that everyone seems to know....and I'm sitting here like "um yeah I'm totally lost". So could anyone answer these questions?
What is a "flavor"?
What is a "counter"?
What are ''split noms"?
How do nominations even work? From what i can tell it's kinda like fastings where everyone nominates 2 people...is that right?
I'll just sit over here wearing my noob cone of shame, and in the meantime if y'all could answer my questions that would be great :)

Did y'all know about Eddie McGee's (winner of BB season 1 aka guy with one leg) acting career? I just watched the film "The Human Race" and thought the lead guy looked really familiar. Turns out it was him! I didn't watch that much of BB1, but i remember finding him extremely annoying....well same goes for his character. The movie is kind of like "The Hunger Games" meets "Battle Royale" and these people are in a race for their lives. They die if they get lapped twice, stray from the path, or fight to the death with each other. I liked it(but then again i like creepy, twisted stuff). I would definitely recommend it! #casting
Hayden was so close to making one of the most brilliant moves of Survivor history! His idea to vote Monica was amazing! He knew at best it would come down to a rock draw. So by voting Monica it ensured that Tyson would be vulnerable for the draw. Brilliant! However, that wasn't the plan he should have used. Since Tyson is keeping the idol under wraps, Hayden could have pretended to find the idol. This would cause the alliance of Tyson, Gervase, Monica, and Ciera to split the votes. 2 for Katie, 2 for Hayden (Monica or Tyson would get Katie and Hayden's votes): thinking Hayden or Katie would play the idol and the other would go home. So Tyson, Gervase, and Monica think the vote will come in 2-2-2 and on the revote they vote out whoever didn't play the idol. BUT, Hayden flips Ciera because she knows she is fourth. Instead of following the split votes plan, Ciera votes for Tyson or Monica (whoever they decide) and the vote comes in 3 (Monica or Tyson)-2 (Hayden)-1 (Katie). Monica/Tyson is blindsided and the newbies have the numbers.
I know it is a bit of a stretch, but if Tyson is that desperate to keep the idol a secret, he wouldn't object to splitting the votes. Also, if Tyson does reveal he has the idol to prevent splitting votes. Hayden could fall back on the plan he used tonight.
So in conclusion, Hayden made a great effort. However, he could have succeeded with a little more thought!
