First off, i have been waiting for a brains vs. brawn season for awhile now, so I'm excited to see it! The first big problem i have with the season is the addition of the "beauty" tribe. I don't get how "beauty" is relevant to Survivor. It's 39 days of no showering, no brushing your teeth, no personal hygiene care whatsoever. Jeff said this season would test 3 attributes necessary for Survivor. I don't see how beauty is a crucial attribute. I think a better tribe would be a "social" tribe. Then all 3 areas of the game would be covered: physical, strategic, and social. It would be a test to see which attribute comes out on top. My next problem is the season really isn't testing which attribute is best. When half of the contestants on the brawn and brains tribe could be on beauty, the beauty tribe basically has nothing special about them. There are also some beauty and brain tribe members who could be on brawn. Too many contestants fit each category. I think the cast is going to be great, and i have high hopes for the season. I feel like the season could have been set up a little better though.
Oh, and my pre-game favorites are Lindsey, J'Tia, Alexis, Tasha, and Brice :) #Survivor

I agree with you about beauty being irrelevant and the fact that so many castaways could work on any tribe (it kind of makes me wonder if they selected the cast before they thought of the twist).I think brains vs brawn would have made an amazing all returnee season so in my opinion it's a shame they didn't wait to use it for season 30 or a significant numbered season.
I'm glad that lots of the cast are fans of the show and have been following it for a while (apart from the terrible editing I think Caramoan could have been better if some of this seasons players had been cast as the fans).
It's interesting to see how everybody seems so ready to backstab each other from their welcome interviews so it could be a season of crazy blindsides. I don't see any really obvious first boots from any tribe and that excites me.
This is going to be an average season. CALLING IT NOW.
Especially following the hype of BvW, and Philippines for recent seasons to a degree (last three tribe one and many comparisons).
Think about HvV and Nicaragua. I think this season will be more liked by fans then Nicaragua, but personally, this cast seems a little bland with only a few standouts. I have a winner pick, but I'm keeping it to myself until the premiere as I could change it. It took me hours to figure it out though.
I think this season will be average. I love Survivor, but this is the first season since I first started (started watching Survivor during the TC of second episode of OW) that I am not craving survivor as a necessity until it starts. Philippines, Caramoan, and especially BvW I was super hyped as soon as the previews were out. Maybe its just the super fun of BvW that I loved, and how it was so amazing that I want to cherishit for longer, but ya. Sorry for my rant.
