Its the same concept. Mocking someone because of their religious beliefs is the same as mocking someone for their race, sexual orientation, height, weight, whatever. Its all, on a moral level, wrong.

And there reason why your report didn't go through because you can't get banned for saying retarded, but you can get banned for calling someone mentally retarded or a psycopath.

As much as I may say "retard" on Skype and shit like that, it's not something that should be said. It's not good that it has the connotation of "you're a dumbass". It's like people saying "that's gay" to mean "that's dumb". Granted I say both sometimes but it's not good to do lol.

Despite it maybe not actually specifying you can't do that, that should just be a moral given not to make fun of someone's beliefs no matter how ridiculous their belief is.
Everyone is a person and if I came in bashing your favourite thing in the world you'd be pissed, no matter what it is, chances are you'd want something done to me as I have offended you. Same goes for this situation, making fun of a religion is offensive to those who view it as fact.
