10 Blogs that shouldn't exist on Tengaged..but thrive anyways!
1] List Blogs. Specifically list blogs that carry on over 10 (or as onemanarmy did, 100) blogs over something not particularly interesting. Chances are, you are not an expert in that topic, so why should we care about your epic list series? Bengalboy is has probably perfected the list blog on the website, so for those who create list blogs, follow his example: keep it short, the entire list contained to one blog, and add in some cheeky humour along the way. If you're going to drag out your list, why should I care? I will lose interest.
Sparknotes version: List blogs are okay but list blogs over a series of blogs is not. Condense that shit.
2] PYN! The idea behind PYN blogs is that the audience gets involved and gets to participate by simply posting a comment and the blogger will personally attribute something to the commenter (PYN and I'll tell you what Dawson's Creek character you are! Bblover96? You're Pacey!). Basically, PYN's are born out of lazyness or are a scam to get 0.1 T$ for each comment and are usually unsatisfactory for everyone involved.
3] For every __ points, I will ______. So, these can be interesting. Too bad the people blogging these aren't. For each 50 points, a major secret about them will be revealed. Too bad these revelations are usually lamer than the blog itself. Nobody cares that you are allergic to bananas. Except sexybanana
4] I am posting a vlog, post your questions! Just film yourself and get it fucking over with and post a blog containing the vlog. If you want questions, it's not hard to Google simple icebreaker questions, message your friends, or whatever.
5] Who wants to be gifted? Obviously everyone.
6] Look at this design I am going to post! It's usually going to be ugly or look identical to all the other doll site designs, but whatever, just upload it and spam or post it already.
7] So and so is a [negative attribute]. Yes, and they will persist being so with or without a top blog giving them more attention. A reaction/defense blog will ensue and anyone not involved doesn't actually care.
8] + if ___________ - if ___________________ - waste of space and devoid of meaningful content
9] Dear Randomize, I am top blogging so you see this - Rando doesn't read top blogs, nor pms, nor emails, and doesn't give a shit, so you are wasting your time sadly. If you happen to be the one blog he does read a year, congrats. Sorry, your survivor ideas are great and we all miss the duel despite never joining it, but he doesn't care about you.
10] Hate blogs. People cyber bully way too much on this site and treat people terribly. I don't know why Tengaged_moderation allows it to persist so much but are so nitpicky with word choice and little things that don't actually matter. People need to come together and be more civil, keep the drama contained to the virtual games, and be a lot nicer to each other.
I literally agree with every single one of these xD
the only exception would be list blogs. Sometimes i think it's necessary to make it into a few different blogs, bc if they have an explanation for each placing that is at least a paragraph, that makes 10 long paragraphs in one blog, and i will most likely not even attempt to read that much xD I'd much rather have it spread out.
although if there is no explanation to each ranking (or very little) then drawing out the list is pointless :P
Bix123 if you read it, you would see my complaint was directed specifically towards list blogs drawn out over a series of blogs, not contained to a single blog.
onemanarmy i actually plussed the first 10 or so I saw. Haven't seen any since, but never did neg them, despite using you as my example! 100 is just such a ridiculous amount.
I remember posting a blog about your #1 and #2 and saying those points pretty much. XD
I appreciate where this is coming from, but nothing will change. :P
