Life is just one big video game

imageYou have a life, you do actions which improve your life (or make it worse) and you have to live with such consequences. You 'level' up, gaining experience everytime you do something good or bad. You learn a bit more about yourself, the world, people, and what to do or do not do. Some people have a second chance, they have a second heart, they have a second shot. But do they make the most of it? It is hard trying to get up, after someone has pierced your only heart, and the metaphorical heart you now have is not really your own. It is a proxy. It can never replace the pure, innocent heart you once had and was shattered to bits by someone or some event.

There is some regret in giving away that part of you to someone whom you thought was the one who would see you at your best, at your worst, and be your shining beacon in the dark spaces of your mind. But then, if you never did do that, you would have never known that this individual, while having traits that you admired or found attractive, was not the full package. That somewhere out there, was the complete package, the special person who has all these traits and characteristics and so much more.

Life is a video game: You have to play the levels until you reach the boss/finish it. Never stop.
