It's been 3 years since I joined tengaged, and I feel the need to come clean about something secret that I've known about myself for a while. There's just no easy way to say this, and I hope that you all can accept me for who I really am.

I am Korean.
Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I was different. While the other girls played with dolls, I had always dreamed of starring in Kdrama or wearing Hanbok. I just never quite fit in with the other, Australian kids. Now that I know who I truly am, I am learning Korean to connect with my new identity. I might have been born in Brisbane, but my soul is from Seoul. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I was different. While the other girls played with dolls, I had always dreamed of marching in Carnival or performing Capoeira. I just never quite fit in with the other, American kids. Now that I know who I truly am, I am learning Portuguese to connect with my new identity. I might have been born in Pennsylvania, but my soul is from Sao Paolo.
