Hello guys! Welcome to your seventh photoshoot. For this week’s photoshoot you are going to be doing something iconic - more specifically embodying someone iconic. For your photoshoot, we will look to 100 of the most influential human people for the year 2019. Again your task is to portray or embody the person you will be picking.

I wanted to highlight this current era of Taylor Swift and how expressive she is about kindness. She is all about positivity and reconciliation and this picture contructs Valentina in this angelic light and to me depicts Taylors current era very well.

As a professional wrestler he had to be in the shape of his life from his muscles down to his stamina. For this photo today I will embody the spirit of pro wrestler The Rock.

mcgrath, considered a titan for her inspiring career as a makeup artist providing representation to artists of color (black artists, especially) who've lacked that representation in the past within the industry. she is praised for her unconventional, bold use of materials and hues through her artistry and i chose to primarily focus on the former aspect in my shoot.

Mohamed Salah is forward for Premier League club Liverpool and the Egypt national team. Considered one of the best players in the world, he is known for his finishing, dribbling, and speed

I chose this shot because frankly it’s a no brainer lol

The shot perfectly shows the connection with soccer as I’m wearing mostly soccer gear
The pose that I’m portraying with the facial expression shows his focus and determination to get shit done(meaning to score goals and help his team)
The headphones I chose because, when I was doing research I found out that there is a chant fans play for him which he listens to
Also since he is from Egypt he is just like me from Africa and that immediately created a bond between us

My shot clearly shows his profession, my pose shows his dedication and determination to his occupation as a soccer player
And to show that I did go in-depth the earphones with the chanting tune made for him established that and it also it helps his African like me too

But most importantly I keep a balance between modeling the shot while still keeping the similarities between us #kill2birdswith1stone

I believe both shots represent Khalid in a positive light. They Express his peaceful demeanor alongside the ways in which his music portrays a sense of serenity throughout the world
I believe Shaun is showcasing several of his strengths within both shots alongside portraying the true representation of Khalid as an individual.

In comparison, your explanation is stronger than the shot itself. However, I do like how you describe each of the elements and how it connects.

- Chanel Iman (SeongWoo)
I’m assuming you’re making a connection with her being this iconic motherly figure for women to look up to? I do like your strong stance and overall shot quality.

- Cody Christian (MJFJUNE)
If you’re only going to focus on The Rock’s muscles then this doesn’t do too well shot wise. I feel you could have made your connection bit stronger by mentioning his personality. Overall, this is an ok shot.

For me, your first image was stronger, but both did a solid job. I think you were able to capture his individuality.

- Sui He (haycsclair)
The explanation and shot are strong on their own, but the shot isn’t the best to convey Sandra Oh. However, I love the quality of it and the dramatic flare it possesses.

- Valentina Sampaio (MISSimogen)
While your styling is on point for the message, your facial expression is very dull. I feel as though a smile and more confident posture would have taken this to the next level.

- Bae Yoon Young (KingGeek)
I love the simplistic creativity of this shot and how your glare draws us in. The shot itself is strong and enhance with the lighting and background.
