Current stars game has kicked up the fuss this week with 4 bannings of players and one of the players being Tengaged's Game Coordinator... Initally #MargeSimpson banned for Innapropriate behavior with minors then 2 days ago, then today with #jeriber & #MmabatlokoaMolefe earlier in the day for sharing accounts and finally #SashaBaby2010 for cheating in comps for people... the real outrage however, started with tengaged user survivorworld33 blogged about the unfair treatment of the lenght of bans for jeriber & #MmabatlokoaMolefe stating "THIS IS NOT A FIRST OFFENCE... SHOULD BE 14 DAYS MINIMUM... ESPECIALLY WHEN IT WAS A PART OF THE ADMIN TEAM AS A GAMES COORDINATOR"
This, followed by lBrice's blog, also about the unfairness, comparing the bans to his & his friends to #jeriber & #MmabatlokoaMolefe's saying "Why did they give us 7 days and they 3? what difference was there?". cocainita also joined in on the blogs, stating the unfairness of her banning comparing to the recent ones... specifically saying racism played a part in the length. Moderator, Koolness234 did respond to cocainita's claims, saying "You were banned for 7 days because you had two prior bans for racist remarks tied to your account.". This also sparked controversy in the comments as #MmabatlokoaMolefe also had previous bans.
However, not all is lost as local homosexual moderator brandonpinzu later blogged, talking about the situation and remedying the situation. "This ban duration was less than what has been previously given for first offences in some cases.". He continued later, "#MmabatlokoaMolefe will remain at the now-extended 7 days ban due to the account's ban history. Additionally, we have collectively decided to keep the current bans for #jeribear, #SashaBaby2010, and #NotNicky333 at 3 days, but also add a 7 day orange nose to each account.". Brandon concluded the blog finalising the new changes to the rule of sharing accounts "Any ban for account sharing will START at 7 days for the first offence. A second offence will lead to a 14-day ban, while a 3rd offence will result in a 30-day ban. Any additional offences beyond that may lead to permanent bans, which is a decision that will be discussed more thoroughly among moderators.
- Additionally, this 7-day ban for first offences will now apply to ALL bans that do not currently specify a permanent ban as the first offence. This includes bans for harassment and homophobic, racist or otherwise overly offensive remarks."
