Top 10 Songs I Discovered In 2017: #8 Dec 31, 2017
"Back at Your Door" by Maroon 5 takes this spot!

I like the sound to it and it is a very interesting song in general. Found this when shuffling Maroon 5's first album and this was a recommended song. For some reason, I always thought this was part of that first album, but I guess it wasn't. Good song, though!

CURRENT LIST:
#10 - "All Over You" - Live
#9 - "Then The Morning Comes" - Smash Mouth
#8 - "Back At Your Door" - Maroon 5

Top 10 Songs I Discovered In 2017: #9 Dec 31, 2017
#9 had to be "Then The Morning Comes" by Smash Mouth.

This song is a very interesting song in general. I enjoy the vibes this song gives off and it's really nice. I have heard of the song's name many years ago but never actually gave the song a try. Thought I'd listen to it when I saw a "Rewind to 1999" video (or something like that). Smash Mouth's hit, "All Star", had a Bach chorale version that would've qualified this list but I don't count remakes of original songs, and I heard "All Star" at least a decade ago.

Top 10 Songs I Discovered In 2017: #10 Dec 30, 2017
#10 has to go to "All Over You" by Live.

This song has a great post-grunge feel to it and I really enjoy it. I have never heard of the band Live until I heard this song, and I was very surprised to find out this wasn't their most popular song. Nowadays, I enjoy it once in a while. I don't like it as much as I used to.

Top 10 Songs I Discovered In 2017: Honorable Mentions Dec 30, 2017
Before we begin, here are some of the songs I liked from 2017 that I considered when making the list, but ultimately didn't make the list:

- A LOT of the songs from Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" album
Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" album is definitely my guilty pleasure. The only song that wasn't considered was "Behind These Hazel Eyes" because I heard that song over 10 years ago, when I was 6! Very good album, overall. I'd highly recommend you listen to the album. If I could do Top 10 ALBUMS I Discovered In 2017, this would be first.

- "The Way She Walks" - Dirty Loops

A really good song. I heard about this song from a singer I really liked who said he liked their work. This is a nice song and I loved it for a little bit, but was it good enough to make the top 10? No.

"Accidentally In Love" - Dirty Loops

Another good Dirty Loops song! Not to be confused with that song from Shrek 2, this is definitely a funky song and a recommend one for those who love modern-day funk. This was also my favorite for a little bit but this slowly died down, but you should listen to it!

"Something To Believe In" - Parachute

I discovered the song at the beginning of this year. I thought it was "meh" but Spotify loved it. From shuffling alone, I think that this was the most frequent song that would get chosen. Why is it so low then? It probably has to do with me getting bored of it towards the end of the year AND it getting chosen randomly on Spotify so many times.

"The Sun" - Maroon 5

This is a nice little song to play once in a while. I really like the song in general and it's one of my favorites from "Songs About Jane", that album with the Starbucks-looking creature on its cover. My favorite song from the album is "This Love", but I discovered that song many years ago.

"Either Way" - Guster

This is yet another band where if I had to choose my favorite song from them of all time, the song listed wouldn't be it. I like this song and found it when it recommended it after I played their album "Ganging Up On The Sun" for a while. It's a nice little song that I enjoy.

Number 10 will be up shortly today! Post below if you want to be tagged for the rest of the list!
