So I have been on this site for a year and 2 months. Originally I was a member of a frat called United and after being there for 4 months I decided I HAD A DREAM ^_^ lol, I wanted to create a frat of my own - a frat that would be fun and organized and have members who were genuinely loyal and understood what being a friend meant.
On June 23, 2013 I created Tenacious Tengagers (I have a thing for alliteration)!
It was small at first but grew and grew and grew until it reached the #1 spot on tengaged on December 6, 2013. It was exciting to be #1. No, it didn't mean we were the best but I felt like I accomplished something. I felt like I created a really nice place that felt like home because most of the members feel like family to me. And you can say that sounds dumb but it's how I feel.
Well, in the past few months TT has become kinda chaotic. In getting so big, not every member joined for the right reasons. People joined for stars support, because it was #1, have a large group to plus their spam, etc. Also people just thinking rules don't apply to them and being rude to others. Being in a frat shouldn't bring you down or cause stress - it should make you smile & add to your experience on the site. It's true no matter what frat you are in you will have drama and every member will never have all the stars they are supposed to have. Such is life. BUT I've decided I want a fresh start. I am going to start a new, smaller frat.
That being said, I may be getting some hateful words thrown my way but I am only going to be starring in people who I KNOW to be loyal, don't cause problems, are active, know how to have fun, don't act like a straight up ass to other people on the site and can follow a few simple rules. Not everyone in TT will be in the new frat. That would defeat the purpose :x
Tenacious Tengagers was a wonderful frat. It was home to many. At the end of the day whether we're in the same frat with people doesn't define our friendships. I have and will maintain friendships with people who were a part of it and made the frat such a wonderful experience.

lol I've always joined frats that have people I like in it and then I never really pay attention to it. Had no idea people thought of frats as family lol

Usually frats that get up there in numbers become convoluted with problems and it ruins all the fun in it, glad you're starting fresh, I always liked TT
