So I called my mom on my way home from work today and she started with “it’s been a long day...”
To make a long story short my step dad has been having chest pains. Last night they were so bad they decided to go to the ER. The EKG and bloodwork showed there was an enzyme in his blood that would only be there if he’s had a heart attack. They also find that three of his arteries are clogged. He already has terminal multiple myeloma cancer so he’s not doing so hot. He’ll be having a triple bypass tomorrow, so please send good vibes/prayers to him and my mom. Neither one of them are in very good health 😢
they live over 1000 miles away from me and I was just there for Christmas when my mom had back surgery. My next trip isn’t scheduled until May but it’s just one thing after another it seems. I keep asking them to move here but they say no because they like their doctors 😞 there’s no one else there to look out for them so I just worry, worry, worry...and needed to vent
OMG I'm so sorry to hear this Kara :( I really hope things get better for your family because, like bryce said, nobody deserves this, especially not you. <3 At the same time, I know how hard it is, so please stay strong.
