No matter how well you get along, people always pick their existing friends over you in games. It’s kinda hard to build friendships when you’re either besties or expendable and there’s little in between.

Don’t make friends in games. Make them on blogs or something outside a competitive aspect. Or have the mindset betrayal in games shouldn’t equate to the friendship value.
Hugs I enjoyed playing frookies with you the other day and would have stuck with you over Danny, but I do know what you're talking about and agree as a whole people tend to go with preexisting relationships and that makes it really hard.
Just playing games with you in the past, you always seem to go out of your way to interact with people in the game (at least in castings) and help people who need it, plus them. It's hard to make friends on this site it seems, unless you talk to people off-site, like on Discord, which I don't. I feel very distant from 90%+ of users. The few I am friendly and 'close' to is more on a superficial level, as I am really fond of them, but they don't truly know me. And then others hate me without having an actual conversation with me. They just call me weird, or whatever others have told them about me that they can echo. It's why the original casting format was so nice, as it really forced you to be social and get to know people. Since mini-games were added, the social aspect of this site was forever lost and never returned.
