Last time on Survivor... Mariah was voted off in a shocking Tribal Council after she failed to pull off the votes to save herself. Tribe Moto and Tribe Ravu competed in their last separate challenge and were told they would both be voting off a castaway to prepare for the merge.

Last time on Survivor... Power-player Matt was voted off his tribe in a surprising vote after he slipped up big time in the immunity challenge, causing a loss for himself and his teammates. Not long after, Tribe Moto took home their first immunity win in a long time and Tribe Ravu found themselves at Tribal Council.

This week, instead of a tribal immunity challenge, there was only a luxury challenge. That's right, neither tribe wins immunity! Both tribes must vote one of their own off so that they may merge into one total tribe in the next episode!

Last time on Survivor... Carlos was voted off Tribe Moto in a dramatic unanimous vote. The morning after, Chelsea stumbles upon a hidden immunity idol under a leaf in the jungle as she was headed to gather water. Stamina in Tribe Ravu proved to be at an all-time high as they took home yet another immunity win -- Tribe Moto was forced to gather at Tribal Council yet again to vote another player off.

Last time on Survivor... Freixo was booted off the island with a landslide vote from his unforgiving tribe after slipping up big time in the immunity challenge. The morning after, a drama-inspiring new twist was introduced to the unbalanced tribes: Tribal Mutiny. Castaways were given the opportunity to jump ship on their tribe to join the others. Tony, Davy, and Brandon were getting sick of their tribes' egos and swapped beaches. Matt and Gervais, thinking jumping ship would finally get them an immunity win, were horribly wrong as Tribe Moto lost their first immunity challenge in three episodes!
