Rob Has a Podcast is very good about the fact that when people who get on the show who are fans of the podcast, they make sure to drop hints that they are fans of the podcast in thier cast assessment interviews and bios.
Tengaged needs to do something like this. Obviously a direct shout-out to the Tengaged community would never make it past editing, so it would have to be something more subtle that would make it past editing and only the community on Tengaged would get it.
Today I am off of work because there was supposed to be a snow storm in Alabama. I am looking out my bedroom window and there still is no snow.
It all began, at http://www.tengaged.com/game/131144 , when Sarzzas announced that he would be joining a fasting and asked if any of us would like to join. Because I am sitting at home and bored, I took him up o this offer. JakeD was the only one there. So the 3 of us made an alliance. Then SilverShadow joined and we added him to make a four-way alliance.
Anyway, this game had some of the fewest inactives and some of the biggest drama of any fasting I have ever been a part of. For a breakdown of the action here is my tributes list:
Thank you for joining this game. That is when the drama began and it became fun. I don't know exactly what happened between you and JakeD, but it was fun to watch. I apologize for bringing religion into the discussion, but as a christian myself, I get upset when I see other christians doing things that make the rest of us look bad. I wish you the best.
You told us from the beginning that you would be inactive. I think that you were the only truly inactive person in the game. That is fine. I hope that you got the health that you needed. I also hope that you had a good day at work. I enjoyed our conversation with you before you had to leave.
I wanted to keep you around longer because we are both currently playing a casting together. Then you started to create drama with Pepper and got exposed for it in the public chat. Bad move. I still don't know why I was nominated against you, but better you get voted out than me.
Again, I plussed your designs and best of luck with those. You had a target on your back because you voted very slowly. I understand your strategy of asking us in the public chat to PM you with the votes, but it didn't work out in a game that moved this fast.
I don't know why you became such a target at the beginning. I really liked you, your funny pictures that you posted and your love for So Kim. Have fun watching the premiere tonight!
I am so sad that we couldn't keep you around longer. I am enjoying playing this casting with you. Our alliance filled up before you were able to join the game.
I have been following you for some time now and I was excited when you joined this game. You seem like an awesome guy who plays very similarly to myself. Both JakeD and myself tried to keep you around as long as we could. I hope we get to play together again soon. I hope to apply for one of your survivor seasons soon.
I know that you were active during the game, but you didn't say much. That is probably why you went so far, but it is also why you didn't make it to the end. Sorry dude.
So, after my frustrating last place finish in a fasting. I joined another one, determined to win. It was an interesting game.
I quickly formed an alliance of 3 people who then added a guy to the alliance named baller who added someone named honey.
Baller, in the first round, shared our chatzy link with everyone in the game. So we all left it quickly and joined a new chatzy and invited everyone but baller. Somehow baller got the link to it (we didn't know who gave it to him) and he shared the link again. The whole time he is demanding that we not nominate him while he is revealing the existence of our alliance. I made a 3rd and final chatzy with only our 3 core people that we started the game with. Baller did not get the link and we continued with the game.
Luckily, there were no solid alliances at this point in the game. It seemed that us 3 were the only ones voting together and it looked like we would become the final 3. Meanwhile, baller and honey are both spamming crazy by typing random letters into the keyboard and posting without stopping. Once baller was voted out...honey revealed to us that she and baller are the same person on two different accounts. Thus, honey was the next to go...
Once we got to the final 7. There were 3 of us, 1 inactive, and 3 others. the 3 others finally got their act together and began to vote together (but not against us, but rather the inactives) Then, one girl in our 3 way alliance decided that she would go to bed and went innactive on us. We were frustrated and only 2 of us remained. The 3 others began calling the shots. They voted out our inactive girl first, then my partner, then they left me for 5th place.
I normally would be upset about a 5th place finish in a fasting, but considering my most recent fasting finished, I'm happy with it.
The first 4 fastings I played on this website I made finals and had a blast making friends, forming strategy, and fighting till the end...
But the most recent games I have played have just been miserable...for some stupid reason I've been targeted since day 1 in my 3 most recent games and I don't know why. I try as hard as I can to put an alliance together but it always seems that there is an alliance that always decides that I need to go first.
I don't really consider myself a threat...Is it because I am orange?
Are there losers who don't have enough balls to join without a premade?
Or am I doing something wrong?
I love both of these games very much. The strategy involved in both is thrilling and fun. I just finished my 3rd rookies. I found myself in a tight alliance of experienced players from the start. Towards the end I really felt that I was in a great position to win if I could get myself into the final 2. However, I stink at challenges (so that rules out PoV) and I left for the weekend and didn't have the opportunity to spam for the final HoH. I'm happy with 3rd...in fact, I'm happy with all 3 of my top 5 finishes so far. I just need to get to the point where I can get myself into the final 2.
