Ok so I was really excited to play my first rookies! I enjoyed slow castings because I met soo many great people and got to bond with them, however the game play was simply non-existent. I couldn't wait to get into rookies where I could make alliances, form strategies, and use my social game to get to the end!
I was told that premades would dominate the game...but that simply wasn't true...both premades seems to crumble and back stab eachother. It kind of gave me as an individual an advantage that the premades targeted eachother instead of me. By the time it was my turn to be nominated I had formed some bonds and some alliances.
The biggest thing that I learned is that there are 2 kinds of people who play rookies:
1. The kind of person that doesn't care what alliance they started with, they will do what they have to to make it to the final 2. These people are much more like myself and much easier to manipulate.
2. The kind that will be loyal to thier original alliances no matter what happens. They may make small alliances on the side just to secure themselves, but when push comes to shove they will never vote to evict a former ally even if it is in thier personal best interest.
Again, I made a lot of friends in this game. I'm really appreciative of both their patience and kindness..
