nenalalala “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo
Alright so I don’t really care for Olivia Rodrigo much, her other really popular song is a no from me. This was the first song I listened to this week, and honestly I didn’t mind it! I thought this submission was going to be safe but as the other songs came up it kept getting pushed further down. Not bad but not my fave!
Christian_ “Je Me Casse” by Destiny
This song wasn’t bad, but next to the other songs I listened to it fell through the cracks. After listening through every song, this was the one off the top of my head I just could hardly remember. Not a bad song but not in league with the rest of the submissions for my personal taste.
Tyleror “Mood Ring” by Lorde
I love Lorde. When I heard one of the songs from her new album I wasn’t too terribly excited for it.. so going into this I wasn’t expecting much, but WOW. I freaking loved the vibe and energy from this song, this style for Lorde is different but it ultimately had me smiling while listening. Awesome song! I’m excited to give the rest of the album a listen now!
stuartlittle16 “Wildside” by Normani ft. Cardi B
The visuals were cool, the song itself was sort of falling flat for me. The tempo never changed really and when it came to Cardi’s verse I wasn’t really digging it, nor was i digging the lyrics much from either artist. Even where I enjoyed the visuals I didn’t feel like the quick paced dancing really went with the tempo.
newnightmare7 “Met Him Last Night” by Demi Lovato
Ft. Ariana Grande
I really really really liked this song!! Both artists have such powerful voices and even while typing these results I still have the song stuck in my head. I’m so excited that you’re out of the bottom 3 this week, this song was impressive, the music was so easy to vibe with, coupled with two powerful voices.
Smuguy2012 “transparent soul” by Willow
Willow is so fucking fierce, this song is straight up fire! I loved every second of the listen, I had heard this song before this week, I enjoyed it then and enjoy it now. This song makes me want to check out the rest of Willow’s work!
