Ummmm hunny, the David Suchet version massacred the original text in a way that broke my heart, just like what the series did to many of Dame Agatha's other works. Vanili
If you really want the best version - watch the 1974 one; a masterpiece of crime film.
I understand that the darker tone is enjoyable, and I did love the seen where they nearly kill Poirot, but I'm sure that Agatha did not intend for her work to be turned into such a religion pushed and dark drudge. The Suchet series still produced wonderful adaptations, The ABC Murders and Five Little Pigs especially, but they messed with a lot of the original stories in a way that I didn't enjoy.
But opinions are simply opinions, like what you want to like :)
