My Italian grandparents came over yesterday afternoon. And usually they speak in Italian to my mom just because that's their natural language. I know a little bit of Italian but usually, I can't really follow the conversation. But like a good grandson, I sit with the family and just smile and eat. Well halfway through one of their conversations, I see my Italian grandparents just giggling while looking at me.
Then my mom brought up my movember moustache and I realized they were looking and chuckling at me! :O I felt like an idiot, because I probably looked ridiculously stupid with my moustache :x THEY DIDNT KNOW ABOUT NO SHAVE NOVEMBER. How is that my fault? SO THANKS NONNO AND NONNA FOR LAUGHING AT ME JUST BECAUSE OF MY MOUSTACHE. much appreciated -_-

Sometime last week, my two friends and I went to subway for lunch. But we don't just go there and eat like all the normal people. We spice things up. Keeping things different, means keeping things fun :)
So we challenged each other to an eating competition. The competition? Eating a foot long sub in record time. But not just one. WE TALKIN' BOUT TWO! Two foot long subs, 24" of quality sandwich. So all three of us ended up downing two foot longs and being able to walk out of it alive. Just keeping life entertaining, even if it leaves you with a painful, loaded belly afterwards.
Wasn't the first time I've done it, and it certainly will not be the last :)
The way I see it, life is already tough as it is. Any chance you get to cheat the system and get the advantage for once, YOU TAKE IT! Because otherwise you'll just get shafted everytime.
Anyways, so the other night I went out with my family for dinner. And my parents had gotten a free dessert with their meals. I, with no dessert felt kinda left out. And then it clicked!!! Restaurants serve you a free complimentary dessert on your birthday! :) so you know what I did? Told them it was my birthday and smiled in the spotlight as the employees sang happy birthday to me! And best of all, I munched down my free dessert.
All in all, it wasn't really my birthday. But I got to milk a free dessert with my meal. Talk about cheating the system!
