Every single year my childhood bff at the age of 5 and 6 (we moved) has a Mom that sends me a Christmas Card every year with my childhood bff and his sister signing the card. I don't keep in contact with them anymore...and I have never sent back a Christmas card. But I always message the Mom saying thanks.
Also my Mom and sister sent me a gift and I have made zero thought if even gifting anyone. I hate buying gifts it's time consuming and expensive.
