When you stalk someone's instagram

That actively posts every month but DIDN'T post the black box on June 1st do you assume they're a RACIST or assume they posted on their story/went to a protest in person?

Comments

That definitely doesn't make them racist

it just makes them unaware and *possibly* racist

its just a black box

i didnt post it and donated to the cause instead lmao, thought it was more effective than a stupid square

sounds harsh but i read places, and statements by other black people, that all the black square did was push a hashtag that was blocked by instagram itself for spam

so i donated instead

I didnt post a black box because i didnt feel it was helping matters i instead signed petitions and did research to better educate myself and help others. Solely black box is a cop out imo

Girl I wasn’t posting a black box

I did post my support for the riots in Atlanta and a post about breonna
Sent by konohavillage1,Sep 26, 2020
I didn't post it on mine because the whole thing didn't mean much

All the racist white kids I went to high school with that said the N word (and still do) posted one so...

I did post it, I could understand how maybe if people use socials infrequently wouldn't, but on every day? Sad if they didn't, especially if they posted NOTHING about it.

That being said, posting a square for some social media clout is pathetic. I will pat myself on the back for raising $1000 for the NAACP Legal Defense & Education Fund for my birthday this year and donating $200 myself! I wasn't able to attend any in person event, I see my parents too much and didn't want to in any way risk their health, but this whole thing has really made me want to revisit my career choices and move to a company that can maybe have some good impact on the world.
