You know what? This song is over hated. I know A LOT of people can’t stand this but personally, I’m into it. Granted, I think that may have to do with the fact that I’m a lot kinder to these types of ballads than most. I’ve always enjoyed Steven Tyler’s voice, and in general this is just a nice little song! Is this my favorite Aerosmith song? God no. But I don’t hate it like most people do.
#LaCroix: Prince - Kiss
I do like most of Prince’s, but this one has just never worked all that well for me. I don’t really know how to put it, I can recognize that this is a nice little song but it just hasn’t clicked like most of his other works have. It’s not bad at all, I get the appeal, I just am not super strong on it. Sorry!

I don’t know what to say here, this is a very pretty song which I enjoy listening to but there’s a lot of other Mariah songs I’d rather return to if I’m being honest. This is a really fun song, Gwen Stefani is charismatic as always, it sounds pretty great, and I just wish I could bring myself to care about it all that much. This really isn’t that bad of a song, I’d say I like it a fair bit, it’s just not one I’d seek out. When it comes on, though (and it comes on the work radio A LOT), I usually turn it up. Not bad!

Ok! Yes! This is a song that I love! I’ve always had an appreciation for this era of latin flavored pop, stuff like Enrique Iglasius and, well, Ricky Martin hit a sweet spot for me. This is just fun as hell, great submission!

But beyond that, THIS is what empowerment anthems should feel like! I don’t want platitudes or anything like that, I want a song to get me out of my seat and out of my slump and ready to kick some ass or dance the night away! I fucking love this song.

There’s a lot of lyrical subtext within this one but I’m way too tired to try and read into anything right now, I can tell there’s a lot of passion here though and they’ve got a lot of shit they gotta get outta their systems. Also just sounded like a vibe. I’m into it!

This song is very pretty. I’ve always liked it without really ever loving it, it’s a pretty nice song which I would say I like but haven’t really ever sought it out. It’s a pretty, ambient little vibe about love, and there’s always room for songs like that! I like this.
