So the other big thing I did this year is dive into some Pokemon ROM hacks. Probably the one I got the least into overall would be Pokemon Emerald Rogue. Now don't get me wrong, it was still really fun. I just kinda lost interest.
Basically, it's a Pokemon Rogue-like. You select a starter from 3 random gen 3 Pokemon, go through various routes to catch randomized mons, and fight the 8 gym leaders + E4 and champion, etc. It is fun for a while but isn't something to dive too deep into or spend a TON of time on. Feels a bit more casual of a thing that I'm into, and that's ok.
