I've written enough essays for a bit, let's keep this one very brief.
Final Fantasy I is... Well, it's definitely the first entry of a series! There's genuinely nothing to say about this one. It's very barebones and stripped back. The main character is just some guy, the party are just some dudes, the Big Bad is done way better in other entries. I appreciate it for what it did for the franchise but like, there's 16 of these now, what exactly am I supposed to get out of returning to the first one?
