The Tributes rise up upon their pedestals. Their eyes scan the barren sand for any signs of shelter as the sweat starts to bead on their foreheads. The desert can be an unforgiving place and these tributes need to fight fast.
The Timer starts to count down from ten, everyone standing on the balls of their feet.
GONG!
Minie, being the thirteen year old female from district four, bolts out as soon as the Gong is heard, and grabs a tarp that is folded up on the ground. She fumbles the hot tarp before shoving it into her backpack and running to #xXheroXx. They Lock eyes then bolt in different directions. #Minie grabs a bottle of water before she see's that arcaninemaster and xXlovewakizaXx have both grabbed swords and were running towards her. She uses her fast little legs to scurry across the hot desert floor, fading into the mirage.
Nickgqc ran into the cornucopia then grabbed a mace, an empty canteen and a plastic sheet. He starts to run into the desert when a slash from XavierR83's dagger meets the back of his arm, but Nick keeps running into the desert, ignoring the pain in his arm. Xavier chases after him.
LunaPark runs from all the carnage to a little patch of greenery she can spot in the distance. She uses the sun to remember the location of the cornucopia.
sosyomomma tries to run and grab a bow when he finds himself face to face with the male from distrcit 12, ThesexiestDude990. #Julian tackles #Drew and they wrestle around to get to their feet, and a chilling crack can be heard. #Julian stands up, looks around, grabs the bow and heads into the distance
BOOM
HRHjonathan runs around the outskirts of the corn, searching for a spot to sneak in. He finds a crack, runs in and grabs a small satchel that may even be empty, but he doesn't want to runaway with nothing. He turns to see baza76 and xxHeroxx who made an alliance while training for the games. #Jonathan tries to run when he's taken down to the ground by #xxhero. #Bailey starts to walk around, looking #Jonathan in the face. A whizzing sound came to a thudding stop. An arrow had been launched into the back of bailey's head.
BOOM #Bailey falls to the ground and #xxhero screams while the motionless body flops to the ground. #Jonathan stands up and see's Valdamien pointing her bow towards them, ready to fire another arrow. #xxHero pushes Johnathan down and runs. #Valdamien lets go of the arrow and it flies into #johnathan's chest while he makes another attempt to escape.
BOOM #Valdamien laughs, picking her arrows out of her victims, taking the satchel then running after a tribute she saw earlier.
Owlb0ned stands on her pedestal still, watching the carnage, feeling hopeless. She turns as her her partner runs into the corn, and abandons their plan crying into the desert. Milkisgood dashes into the hot desert Cornucopia and notices Jess has left him and he must fend for himself. He grabs a loaf of bread that was sitting in the open. He see's a couple tributes to the right gathering tridents so he turns to the left and grabs a satchel on his way out, fearing death is imminent.
Tigger goes to the ropes and wires when a spear is thrown through both of her legs. She lies on the ground, screaming in pain, no way of escape. Looking up from her feet she sees westyman557 standing with a dagger in his other hand, clicking his tongue and shaking his head...
BOOM Crissy15 runs into the corn and grabs a bottle of water that was hidden in the sand by her pedestal. She holds onto it while sprinting on a straight path to a Sickle. She speeds up when she see's nobody around it. Suddenly connorfitz15 pops out from behind a crate, wielding his sword, which #crissy slides on her knees to avoid. She gets back up on her feet, grabbing the sickle. When #crissy turns she's eye to eye with #connor, the tip of his sword in her face.
"Please no she yells!"
"I'm sorry!" Connor responds before looking away, slicing Crissy's head off
BOOM
He picks up the water, sickle and runs into the desert
omgitsgarret wrestles with likevines20 on the ground while they were trying to both go for an axe. Likevines gets on her feet and pulls out a dagger she also picked up while garret takes out a rope he found a few seconds ago. Garret Whips the rope at likevines and she drops the dagger. Ashley tries to dive to the ground to get the dagger, but garret had already rolled on the ground to get there faster. Garret pops off the ground, ripping Ashley's thigh open. She pushes him on the ground and he lands on the back end of the double sided axe, ripping his chest open.
BOOM
Thumper91 quickly runs into the Cornucopia and retrieves a Trident. Also grabbing a trident next to her, is her ally she met in training. blatastic1234 and #Lauren lock eyes, nod and both turn to the right, spotting a tribute. Tadd dashes across the sand with a tarp hanging out of his unzipped pack, rope and a machete. #Lauren and #Tanner run with their tridents held high, when they get hit in the head by a flying baton. Guigi runs and kicks #Lauren in the face while she's on the ground. Tanner grabs Guigi's foot and she falls to the ground and screams for Tadd. Tanner stabs the trident into the ground and uses it to quickly get himself of the ground, swing around and hold the trident at Guigi's throat. Guigi pushes her baton into Tanner's genitals (being a guy sucks ;() and he falls to the ground, being defended by Lauren. Guigi gathers her items and runs after her district partner.
