My Top 25 Rolling Stones Songs | #12 Feb 13, 2018
This list is a personal opinion. Therefore, any songs that were big and are low, doesn't mean they aren't famous, it means I don't enjoy them as much. PYN Below if you want to be tagged.

Under My Thumb | Aftermath | 1966

So this is my #2 song on this album. This is 2 years before the band's 1st peak began. This is a great vocal performance by Mick, who displays a soft voice in this "weird love song that's kind of mysogynistic" but, i am not judging based on it being offensive, because brown sugar is the most offensive song on this list, and it's higher up than this. But more on that later. \

The suttle piano a picking of instruments makes this the top of our 3rd tier of stones music. The next tier, will be evident how much better it is, #11 & #10 are very close and will take a few minutes to decide.

It's Only Rock 'n Roll (But I Like It) | It's Only Rock 'n Roll | 1974

I have no songs higher than this, from the time period of 72' to 77'. I find that it was the worst period for the stones before they made their great comeback in 78'. This song is spectacular nonetheless. Jagger is ferocious. He displays so much sexual prowess in this song, that can't be explained unless you listen.

Great guitar, Great Singing, Great Drumming, Great Lyrics. Apart from this, I'll plug a little thing talking bout their guitarists. Keith and Wood are two of the greatest guitarists of all time IMO. Wood going on to joining the Faces with Rod Stewart and Keith dominating for the Stones.

Ruby Tuesday | Flowers | 1967

"Flowers" was a weak album, for the time it was made. Since '67 was the beginning of the peak of the stones popularity. This was the best track on the album for a reason. It's like no other song, ever. The piano, background noise, and subtle instruments add to the vibe of the song. This is one of the top 10 Jagger performances! This song can light up a fucking room on the first beat, since all stones fans know it is that song right away.

Tumbling Dice | Exile On Main Street | 1972

The next 6 songs, the star of the show is Mick Jagger. He really takes control of the band in the seventies, being the band's manager along with frontman. The ending of the song is very well done, with "you got to roll me" being repeated with Jagger singing over it. The guitar solo is well done and the song is put together well. The song doesn't really stick out as a stud of a song. But, nonetheless a JAM.

Bitch | Sticky Fingers | 1971

This is my second favourite song off of Sticky Fingers. I won't be revealing what that song is just yet. I was compiling a list of the greatest guitar riffs of all time, and this would be in the top 25. The trumpet is FANTASTIC, and the whole array of instruments is great. The lyrics could be better, then again jagger isn't the star of the show on this song. I almost put this song in the top 15.

Satisfaction | Out Of Our Heads | 1965

My most controversial opinion yet. The song that Rolling Stone Magazine called the second greatest song of all time is #17 on my rolling stones song list. Why? It is overhyped. It was a great musical piece for 1965, and a great "fuck you" to the older generation. Yet, there are plenty of songs that are better than this. It has a great riff and such, but it doesn't have the lyricism or guitar work of the higher songs.
