My Top 25 Rolling Stones Songs | #18 Feb 11, 2018
This list is a personal opinion. Therefore, any songs that were big and are low, doesn't mean they aren't famous, it means I don't enjoy them as much. PYN Below if you want to be tagged.

Start Me Up | Tattoo You | 1981

This song might be a shocker for some people following along. This song is the 5th most played stones song on spotify. The problem I have with it, is just that I can't stand the chorus, I try to skip it each time. The rest of the song is very good, and deserves its spot in 19. The drumming and other percussion drives this song forward, one thing that Charlie Watts is very good at.

Miss You | Some Girls | 1978

Sorry Sophie (my sister), I will take back my statement from yesterday morning... "I hate disco." There are a few songs out there in Disco, that I quite enjoy. This is one of those songs. This almost feels like a Mick Jagger solo song. But, I still enjoy it a lot! I'd probably switch it with country honk if I had to rethink about it, but it fits snugly into the 19th spot. Mick aint young in this song, and he shows his advancements in music with his new style going into the 80's.

I have 4 tiers of songs in this list. My top tier, which consists of my favourite songs, followed by a tier with some great songs, followed by some very good songs, followed by this tier of good songs. This is the top of the lowest tier in my list.

Country Honk | Let It Bleed | 1969

This is my second highest ranked song on the album, "Let It Bleed". This is the country version of Honky Tonk Women. The latter song was never put on an album, and was a hit single. Honky Tonk Women is higher up on the list, yet this is an incredible version. Country Honk is an amazing Country Song, from a band who is thriving while the Beatles are dying. While this band is coping with the death of Brian Jones, a member of the 27 club, who played on 2 songs on "Let It Bleed" and died that year.

The song has a great banjo? (not too sure about what it is), but whoever is playing it is fantastic. EDIT: It's a fiddle. For all those who say country sucks, this will prove you wrong. Bo Burnham said it best in his song... where he sang about "stadium country" sucking but real country is perfectly good. This is REAL country.

Wild Horses | Sticky Fingers | 1971

This is the highest Stones ballad on my list. I have this song lower than most lists put it, and that is just because I never really connected with it. Yet, we can gain knowledge about Mick's vocal range in this song, and how soft his voice can be. And the members do a great job in this song.

2000 Light Years From Home | Beggars Banquet | 1968

Well well well, hello Rolling Stones! Nice to meet you. This is the beginning of the Stones Greatness. This song is extremely psychadelic, and shows how they have improved. The background noise is awesome, and the guitar flows so well back into the vocals. This song takes it out of Jagger's hands, and puts it into Richard's. Drumming is amazing, and feels like a poor man's "Paint It Black".

She's A Rainbow | Their Satanic Majesties Request | 1967

If you ask me the question, "name off 3 songs that were 100% written with LSD or shit like that", i'd say this, along with Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by the Beatles & SWALBR by Eric Clapton. This song confuses the fuck out of me, every single time I listen to it. This song is my favourite off the album, and is right before the stones peak. This is the epitome of a love song. And proves that they can venture out of their comfort zone. Yet, the vocals are just different from how I'd love them. In the end, I settled with it here.
