Today I want to start a new blog series called "Animated Irony" where I look at some ironic comparisons between animated shows and reality. In the 2000's adult animated show Drawn Together the former Voice Acting legend, Tara Strong voiced a character called "Princess Clara" who was a bigoted princess. Now it is 2023, 13 years after the movie (which sucked btw don't watch it) premiered and the franchise ended and Tara Strong is in the news for tweeting an islamophobic tweet due to the recent Isreal-Hamas war.
