but i draw the line at schools no longer being able to put kids in time out. It's ridiculous, IMO. I have to treat lightly here but this is WHY kids don't listen to authority figures anymore. a 2 minute time-out is considered child abuse in the education system and discrimination and you are not allowed to discriminate in ANY way any child for their behavior.
(also if a child discloses that a parent hit them in ANY kind of way, you HAVE to report it to CPP)
this is the circumstance of being a teacher and I feel like absolute garbage and every bone in my body hurts. And then I tried to get up an hour ago only to vomit everywhere so clearly my body is not recovered yet. I feel like death
I got to do circle/story time with my class and theyre so precious and imaginative and inquisitive and idk i just cant stop smiling literally teaching kids to read for the rest of their lives i just cant handle the happiness/adoration for my kids and getting to work 1 on 1 with children to help them learn tougher subjects they struggle with i just fiojbskldgijansdfjaksf
