Got to say, that was HARD!!! Completely underrestimated how draining, and time-consuming it'd be, and if you join, you have to be committed if you want to do well. The emotions and stress-levels it gave me weren't dissimilar to Stars, despite the fact they are wholly different games.
What also made it hard was the SERIOUS variation of timezones..like we legit had 6 or 7 different ones, scattered accross the globe: a few american ones, 2 ppl from the UK, one from Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Australia...so part of the reason for the game's speed was that we all couldn't be online at the same time to get things done, we need our sleep now and then!
Nobody knows this, but when I went in, being a first-timer, I had no clue of what I was doing really, but I saw bushes. Now I thought more than one would be good ones, but no...But I clicked and LOW AND BEHOLD, it was the health one! Assuming I'd got lucky, I just thought 'yayyy' to myself, but people were then pmming me saying it was bush #2...I knew it but I don't think I WANTED people knowing that I knew it, so I played dumb, and acted like I was about to guess. Beginners luck right there - but sorry for that lie guys :/.
The shooting began, and people in the corn began having fights, although I know now not all of them were legit fights - I didn't get to know what an XP circle was until nearly a day after joining LOL, and I consider this one of my mistakes, as it meant mine was considerably lower...But wth.
Now I really wanna say this, because it actually goes out to people outside the game...And I'm no angel for this myseLf, as I've done it to people in stars before now, and therefore never minded when it was done for me. But you REALLY have to let up with dictating to people about their choice of strategy. I get that waiting for a game must suck, but then I waited 31 games to join LOL because of enrollment speed/times. Sometimes, its their ONLY option though, and not the one they even want to do. I'm fully aware I floated and hid too much, and I'd happily have changed that if I could, but legit EVERY time I popped in the corn for a bite to eat, I was taken on - and not for a damn XP circle! One time, I was unfortunate enough to get M3 facing lonelypuppie, and its one of her faves, so I just thought LOLLLL NO! So yeah, I ran a bit too :/.
My running, wrong bush guesing, and other general mistakes cost me a lot of health, so much so that I was faced with a total dilemma last night...let myself just die in my sleep, stab a guess at a bush, or have a fight....I fell asleep before I'd even decided, so I died :( But I liked that nobody killed me, shows that [for once] noone hated me lolz :p. It could have been changed, but tbh I was disadvantaged all yesterday for being out, only could check things in dribs and drabs on my phone when I had signal lol!
After hating it the first day, I did have fun, and I will join again, just not for a good while - really to survive, you need a few days off school or work to do it, because of how seriously dog-eat-dog and unpredictable it is - at least with stars, you have the set DC times lmao!

All in all, verrry demanding game, but I did start to just try and relax and enjoy it after a while. Nice to work with different people too. If by some miracle I make another enrollment time, I'll have another go, and try to rectify my mistakes! OOOOOOHHH and thank you to everyone who told me they were supporting me...I tried! < 3.
