The Blind Annual Taste Test! How it works is simple... each round, one person from each team will be given a blindfold and headphones, and then I will feed them 4 ingredients. You will need to identify what the ingredients are using only your palates. The team who identifies the most ingredients wins!

Chef Ramsay: Oh, and one more thing.
Suddenly, two large pies come out, along with a hole that a human head could fit in.
Chef Ramsay: As someone is tasting... another person will be here! If you fail to identify 3 ingredients, your teammate will receive a pie to the face! So make sure you know what it is! First up tot taste is Crystal and Courtney... while Marjorie and James will be at risk of getting a pie to the face!
Here’s how the taste test goes for Crystal and Courtney.
Vincent has only gotten one ingredient correct, while Assi has scored an impressive 3 out of 4. Courtney remains dry, but Crystal receives a big pie to her face.

The final pair to taste is Marjorie and James, with Kinsington and Opal in the hot seats. The Blue Team needs to get at least 2 to stay in the game, and the Red Team needs 3 to claim the victory.
Marjorie has only scored 1 point, resulting Kinsington getting a pie to the face. James, however, has gotten all 4 ingredients correct, and has sealed the victory for the red team.

Chef Ramsay: Red Team, well done! You all have some extraordinary palates! And the best part is... you finally won another challenge! For your reward today, I’ve arranged for you all to be taken all the way to Colorado to be given ski lessons on their snowiest mountains! You’ll be staying in a wonderful log cabin for the day, and you’ll be taught by a world class instructor! Get changed, you have a long flight ahead of you!
The Red Team goes upstairs to get changed for their day in the Colorado Mountains.
Chef Ramsay: Blue Team... this is your first punishment in a long time. Today, we have tons of rotten foods inside of our freezers. I need you to go through all of them, throw out whatever is expired, and then travel to the farmers market to replace everything that you threw out. And by the way... you’ll be going there by FOOT. I believe the nearest farmers market is... 2 miles? Yes, 2 miles from here. Go upstairs, and maybe put some comfortable shoes on.
The Red Team enjoys their day getting Ski Lessons while the Blue Team spends the day walking to the farmers market for fresh ingredients.

Chef Ramsay says that he will let each team choose stations tonight. Here is what the teams decide on.

At the start of service, Vincent under seasons one of his risottos, but bounces back afterward. Assi, on the other hand, is having a tougher time.
Chef Ramsay: Assi! Look at these. I have 4 risottos sent up to the pass... all of them are soupy!
Assi: I apologize, chef.
Chef Ramsay: Young lady, take the first three letters of your name. THAT’S what your fucking cooking tastes like!!!!!
After this, Assi is able to bounce back. After a rough start, the chefs begin cooking entrees.
However, there are some problems on both team’s garnish stations.
Chef Ramsay: I have 2 red entrees and 4 blue entrees ready to be served, I just need the garnishes!
Opal: ...
Crystal: ...
Chef Ramsay: HELLO!!!
Opal: Oh! Sorry chef, I’ll be 10 minutes!
Crystal: I need 12 minutes!
Chef Ramsay: Are you serious? Wow... they’re gonna be stone cold by then. You both are USELESS!
Meanwhile, Kinsington burns one wellington and cooks the rest of his food perfectly.
However... in the Red Kitchen, fish entrees are being sent to the pass raw.
Chef Ramsay: Courtney! Come here...
I have 2 rubber servings of scallops, and then 2 raw salmon. It’s SHIT!
Courtney: Sorry, chef.
Chef Ramsay: I don’t get it! I let you pick the stations tonight! And yet I keep seeing you guys fuck up over and over again! I am absolutely DONE.

The Red Team has been kicked out of service. The Blue Team manages to finish strongly.
In the dorms, the Red Team is trying to decide on two chefs that should go up.
They all know that James was the best performing chef on the Red Kitchen tonight, but they also know everyone else had a shit service.
Assi says Courtney and Opal should go up.
Courtney says Assi and Opal should go up.
Opal says Assi and Courtney should go up.
James is the tiebreaking vote.

Courtney, Opal and ASSI, all three of you step forward!
Courtney, Opal and Assi step forward and state why they should stay in Hell’s Kitchen. Chef Ramsay says Courtney’s Team is losing faith in her, but she says she knows she has the skills necessary to become a leader, no matter what her team thinks. Chef Ramsay asks if Opal has a voice, and she says she does and she just hasn’t gotten the chance to really use it yet. Chef Ramsay asks Assi if she can recover from her downward spiral, and Assi says she can definitely come back.
Chef Ramsay: This is tough. My decision is...

Opal then walks up to Chef Ramsay and takes her jacket off.
Chef Ramsay: Young lady... you have a lot of passion. However... you have not been using your voice. If you aren’t being heard in your kitchen, and by your team, you are not ready to become my next Head Chef. Goodnight.
Opal then hands her jacket to Chef Ramsay and leaves Hell’s Kitchen.
Chef Ramsay: Red Team... you switched off tonight. If you don’t recover... the Blue Team may be the only ones receiving black jackets this year. Get the message?
Red Team: Yes, chef!
Chef Ramsay: Get out of here.
The chefs then head to their dorms for the night.
As Chef Ramsay walks up to his office, his voice narrates the scene.
“I waited throughout this competition for Opal to find her voice. Unfortunately, she never did, and I grew tired of waiting.”
Chef Ramsay then hangs Opal’s jacket, and her picture burns up.
