9 tributes have made it this far... but a few of them will not survive this day!
The rest, however, will advance to the finale, which is tomorrow!
Who will be fortunate enough to survive the day?

-Hunters-
The careers feel good about their kill from yesterday. However, they haven’t been able to find another tribute to murder.
They’ve woken up bright and early this morning, searching inside all of the metal scrap pieces of housing, hoping to find another tribute to slaughter.
Tritan: Hey, why don’t we split up? We’ll have a better chance of finding other tributes, and if we stay close, we can yell out for each other if we run into any trouble.
Aurora: I like that idea! Let’s do it!
Veronica: Actually, I don’t think that would be best, we should—
Before Veronica can finish, she notices that Aurora and Tritan are gone.
Veronica: Guys? GUYS?
Veronica searches for her fellow careers.
-A Sorrowful Demise-
Sorrow has been sleeping inside of the metal house she found all night. She is woken up to the sound of footsteps and voices coming closer.
She sees that Parvati’s body is gone, and she is by herself.
She grabs a knife, preparing to attack if needed.
She hears the voice coming closer.
Suddenly, the voice stops.

Sorrow takes a step back.
...

...
Suddenly, the cloth that blocks the doorway swings open, and Aurora comes charging in. She punches Sorrow to the ground.
Aurora: GUYS! I FOUND ONE!
Aurora takes out a knife, and tries to stab Sorrow with it. Sorrow, however, moves out of the way, and takes out her own knife.
The two swing at each other for a while with none of them landing a hit, until...
Aurora slices Sorrow’s stomach.
Sorrow now has a visible scratch mark on her stomach, and her shirt has been sliced in half.
Aurora enjoys the fact that she landed a hit. In fact, she enjoys it a little too much.
While she’s distracted, Sorrow takes a swing at Aurora, pushing through the pain in her stomach.
It happens so fast, Aurora has little time to react. She tries to do something, but it’s too late. She let her guard down for too long.
The knife slices deep into Aurora’s throat, and she immediately drops her knife.
Staring at Sorrow in disbelief, Aurora bleeds out, and succumbs to her wounds.
BOOM!
Sorrow then immediately grabs her supplies and runs off before the other careers arrive at the scene.
Tritan and Veronica find their way to Aurora’s corpse, very disappointed to see that a tribute got away.
Tritan: Dammit! How did they...
Veronica: From now on, we stick together. They don’t stand a chance if we attack them together.
-A Scottish Sponsor-
Finstock has found a metal house to sleep in for the night, now on his own after last night’s events.
He is silently sitting in a house when he notices something slowly floating to the ground outside.
He goes outside to see a sponsor package with his name on it.
He opens it and reads the note.
“Finstock,
Your whole family is rooting for you back home, but just in case you don’t make it... we wanted to reunite you with this. We thought it would help you in the games, and you would make our whole family proud using it.
Love, Mom”
Finstock has recieved a gift from his mother.
Not thinking about how much money she had to pay to give this to him, he opens it to see a large Scottish Shield, with a family crest on it. Finstock’s family crest.
Finstock stares at the shield, and smiles.
He is thinking about his family and how much he loves them, when...
BOOM!

Finstock suddenly drops his shield and drops to the ground dead with an arrow in his skull.
His killer begins walking over to his body.
It’s Jobina.
Jobina lowers her bow and looks at the tribute she killed.
She then reads the note and looks at the gift.
She then feels completely terrible. So terrible, she sheds a tear.
However, she attempts to hold it together, and begins whispering to herself.
Jobina: This is for him... this is for him.
Suddenly, 2 more voices can be heard in the distance.
Oat: Jobina? Are you okay?
Alex: What happened?
Jobina composes herself, and then picks up Finstock’s shield.
Jobina: Nothing happened, I’m fine! I found a shield for us to use!
Jobina then stares at the shield, and then at Alex. She thinks it’ll come in handy when she needs to protect him.
-The Huge Weight on their Shoulders-
Veronica and Tritan have been hunting for the tribute that killed Aurora all day, but have had no luck.
Tritan takes off his jacket, feeling hot. Veronica eventually does the same.
Tritan: Jeez... we are NEVER gonna find the other tributes!
Veronica: Just... just calm down. We’ll...
Tritan: Veronica, don’t you get it? We’re letting our Districts down! We’re supposed to be dominating this arena! And besides the bloodbath, we’ve only killed one person! As we look for the other, we continue to drop like flies! We’re disgraces!
Veronica is silent for a moment.
Veronica: Is that a reason to give up?
Tritan: N-no...
Veronica: Right now, we’re both still alive. Right now, we both are still representing our districts. There aren’t that many people left, and we’re still here. We can still win this and bring pride and joy to one of our districts. So right now, we need to focus on killing off the rest of the competition.
Motivated by Veronica’s words, Tritan continues hunting with her.
Eventually, the sun sets, and a moderate sandstorm begins.
However... this one feels different.
Veronica and Tritan feel themselves... heavier. As if they’re suddenly being weighed down.
Tritan: What... what is this?
Veronica then looks at her hand. It’s covered in sand.
She attempts to brush the sand off, but it’s sticking to her skin like glue. The same thing is happening with Tritan.
Veronica: Wha... what is this?!
Suddenly, an announcement is made to all the viewers watching at home. The tributes cannot hear this.
Announcer: The capitol has thrown in a special kind of sand to shake things up tonight. This special sand is designed to stick to human skin, and usually comes off after a while. A tiny bit of it is harmless... but if you’re caught in the middle of a sandstorm... you’ll be in trouble!
Veronica: We need to take shelter!
Veronica and Tritan can feel sand sticking to their arms, their faces, their necks...
There’s so much of it, they’re being weighed down.
Tritan eventually falls to the ground due to all the weight attached to him. He reaches to the nearest metal house, but he can’t move.
Veronica continues to move as Tritan is engulfed in sand. It piles on top of him until all that remains is a big pile of it.
BOOM!
Veronica is able to make it to the metal house, being protected by the cloth blocking the doorway.
She falls to the ground with sand completely covering her face and arms. She can hardly move because of the weight, and can barely breath. All she can do is lay on the ground, hoping all the sand will detach from her eventually.
-A Lonely Girl-
Lindsay has been by herself the entire day. She feels lucky that she did not come into contact with any of the other tributes for the entire day.
She is hanging out in a metal house all by herself, unaware of the dangerous sticky sand outside.
Suddenly, the fallen tributes of the day are projected in the sky.

Lindsay notices that Finstock is one of the dead tributes. She tries not to think about it.
She then notices that the other 2 tributes shown were careers. She then starts to think positive.
She pulls her sickle out of her bag, and stares at it while she starts talking to herself.
Lindsay: Okay... just 5 other tributes to go... I can do this... I can beat them...

The finale is upon us! Tomorrow, the winner of the 106th Hunger Games will be crowned in a 2 part finale!
