The very last theme is only one, but the songs you have to send are THREE!
We'll see your last ability in music taste by sending well three songs, for a total of 9 songs, that will be ranked from nine to one point.
In case of ties, the one that did better in more rounds will take home the victory!
Here is the last theme!
THEME 12 | Three Important Songs
The twelfth and last theme is Three Important Songs
For this last theme I'd like you to send three songs.
The choice is free, just don't choose songs that have been already picked before in other episodes!
I'd like you to pick those 3 songs based on their importance for you. Those songs might be related to relatives, old stories and travels. Nice or sad moments, anything.
I'd also love to hear a story behind these three songs you'll be sending, just to understand why they're so important for you!
You will receive from 9 to 1 points (as I said before) and the messages/meanings of the importance behind the song might help get higher placements!
You have until 5pm est of tomorrow to send the three final songs!
For the very last time this season, GOOD LUCK! :D

"Who You Are" by Jessie J
I chose this song because it's extremely special to me as I connect to the lyrics so much. I've hated and felt so insecure of myself in my teenage years for the longest time. But I've learnt to love myself and just be who I am. And it's okay to be who you are unapologetically.
James Bay "Let It Go"
This is just one of those songs that I go to when I'm feeling down and sad. Or if I ever just need to calm my stress. It just has such a calming presence about it and I always just imagine myself driving through a valley on a dull day and just feeling the feels. One of my fave songs.
Beyonce "I Was Here" (listen to the live version, but if it's not allowed added the video)
When I die, I'd like to be remembered and not just another forgotten nobody. I want to leave my mark so people would remember me for the years to follow. I want to give it my all and achieve everything I aim for, and I will leave my mark so EVERYONE WILL KNOW...I WAS HERE!!!
"Lean on Me" by Club Nouveau
This song reminds of the my 5th grade graduation song that my class had to do. A Bit of a backstory: I moved to my current city when I was going into 3rd Grade so making it to 5th grade at a new school alive was a big accomplishment for me. Plus, I loved performing the dance at the time.
Idk where to start about this song. "One day you will live this world behind so live a life that you will remember" is the quote that hits harder on me and sums up well what this song is about. We need to be ourselves, do the things we want to do so later we dont have regrets about our choices and the things we have done. This have always been one of my favorites songs but now it is more than never. Appart of giving the message to enjoy every single moment as it would be the last one, this song is also about overcoming difficulties and make worth moments from it. This is where i am rn. All this pandemic situation have been a nightmare for everyone, at least in my country we take things carefully and serious and i havent seen a lot friends in this last year and i miss them. Actually, one of the last time i was together with a specific group of friends before pandemic started and completly uncorcened about the restrictions we would have a few weeks later (i have met this friends meanwhile btw), we were just playing some songs, chilling, whatever, and i put this song. This makes the song a bit more special atm, rn everytime i hear this song i think in that day with my friends anf for me that i try to take this message to my life, this is a rlly difficult moment, but where i need to grab me to this message and the song gives me hope for sure. I hope as soon as possible i will be with my friends having fun day after day.
I have been so fucking addicted to this song. I dont even need to understand italian to feel this song and everytime i hear this song tears come to my eyes bc of an old story/moment. This song have been released in the year i went to rome with a group of friends. This was my best trip with friends for sure and i never felt so wanted and inside a group as in this one. This few days in rome where one of my happiers days in life and this song describes perfectly my feelings towards a girl that was there with me. We were rlly close and i would do anything for her but i never managed to say that i was into her (I was quiet and shy at that time lol). The trip was over in a question of days and i never got another chance like that again, so everytime i hear this song i remember how lucky i already was, but also how things could have been different.
Just imagine this scene. Me, in the middle of a musical festival completly alone and lost of my friends. That was me first time i heard this song and i would never forget it. Everything about this track is perfect the way it is powerfulful and melodical at same time its impressive and take me to another dimension, i just want to go back to that festival and lose myself again. Not to mention that im so proud Kura is portuguese <3 and this videoclip was filmed on my city, i couldnt asked for anything better than this.

This song is important to me, because it reminds me of my older brother who helped me through a hard time in my freshman year in high school. He was a senior in high school and we ended up becoming best friends.

Even though this song says itβs about girls, but it reminds me of finishing my internship, graduating high school, and being known to be a great employee at Goodwill.
