I wasn't expecting either of these entries, but I very much enjoyed both of them. A classic music battle between a bop and a ballad lol! I have decided to save David2560 as I do prefer Maya's song. Congratulations on making your way into the final! That being said, I'm very sad to have to say goodbye to JohnPigeon you were one of the most consistent people in the contest - the bridesmaid of the season I fear (so many 3rd/2nd place finishes). Thanks for playing you were so great <3
We've made it to the Grand Final! The Final 4! This game has been such a journey and I can't believe it's almost over. The standard of every round has been so high and you all deserve to be here.
It's going to be a three-song Finale and here are the categories:
Song 1: You must choose your favourite selection out of all of the songs you have submitted this season. Which song was your highlight?
Song 2: I want you to choose a song that has either a special meaning to you, or a story behind it. I mean for example were you a kid watching Eurovision for the first time and saw an entry that you never forgot? or did a performance/lyrics relate to you. The beauty of Eurovision is that it isn't just a contest, it's something we've grown up with and it does touch us in a beautiful way. I want you to try and convey these feelings with this choice.
Song 3: What artist/song would you send to Eurovision? You woke up and found yourself HoD of a country of your choice. Can you do it better than those before?
This song is just ART, I'm so happy I remembered it because now I've had it on repeat for days
This was the winner of the first contest I ever watched and it is a LEGENDARY one, I remembered this for years and years and for me it's by far the best winner of the 2000's
Finally, a song that is an absolute BANGER and I'm so sad we haven't seen this queen in Eurovision yet...maybe 2024 is finally her time!
Song 1: "Dance Alone" by Jana Bur膷eska, FYR Macedonia 2017 - Pound for pound one of the best studio cuts in Eurovision history, methinks.
Song #2: "J'ai cherch茅" by Amir, France 2016 - I'm usually balls deep into seasonal depression by the time Eurovision songs start coming out each year and ESC is one of the things that helps me get out of it and have something to look towards. There's a few songs each year that I call "hugs" that just make me feel good and safe and this is the *one* that ultimately comes to my head first for that. Feel-good comfort without going into insincere territory.
Song #3: "What I Won't Do" by Leon Else, United Kingdom - "You want arguably the strongest music industry just to send this random ass 5 year old song about gay promiscuity and loneliness?" Yeah, I do.
Song 1: I have to go with queen Dami Im Sound of Silence... she was robbed that year tbh, she deserved the win... Imagine Eurovision in Sidney OMG
Song 2: This is one of my favorite songs of Eurovision. Probably most people won't remember it but I had this song on repeat on 2016... His vocals are so good
Song 3: As the only spanish left in this cast.. for this song I have to post a spanish song obviously!! I'm going with my queen Chanel again, because she has to come for her trophy hahaha
