If they keep getting nominated it’s because they are not doing well in the game. (Unless there’s a large pre-made) no??

It’s so dumb and it’s not going to change. This website is toxic and hates seeing people succeed in games so they’ll vote for the person who was the worst at it.

I choked. What? That’s…not a strategy. If virtually anyone can go up by not playing, it’s not a strategy. Meanwhile going unnominated is extremely difficult and can only be managed by a select few.
I agree, but I think in the case of this stars, it also did not work in Darrius's favor that he came back recently from a long break. He absolutely played well and making finals unnominated is very impressive, but he did not play the public that much during the week. He may have gained some more support if he had a storyline throughout the week. That's just how it goes, people see the flavor as an underdog and support them, so you need something extra if you wanna try to combat it.
Who defines the winner is the public. Being nominated multiple times is a strategy to gain audience appeal. You can be a great player escaping the votes, but it's the audience that decides whether you're going to win or not.
If someone is nommed 4x by 10th bc of a 8-person premade, they deserve to win because the premade deserves to lose
But if someone naturally goes up 3x or 4x in a normal game, I agree. People literally will go up TWICE and talk about being a flavor nowadays and the public eats it up for no reason
At least ravenclaw won my last stars after only being up for 16th like players like cheritaisdelicious and I worked hard to ensure there wasn’t flavors lol

I understand, but at the same time, why would someone being unnomed change anything? I mean, if there's a person playing badly, but I like them better, I don't care if there's someone making the best stars in life. I prefer to vote for who I like/know best. No?
I disagree. If Stars casts are knowingly making a flavor, knowing what they know about flavors tending to win, THEY are the ones poorly playing the game. Usually flavors are shut out from the rest of the cast anyway.
New York CBBUK comes to mind, she was playing epic, rocked the ship and shooketh the house and got a top 5 placement. The queen stays queen but New York has a crown of her own for her gameplay which sadly saw her nominated a lot of times. At the end of the day, I wholeheartedly understand what you say, but it's always up to the public vote.
