- Every blood pair was given 1 opportunity to switch with their loved ones, after that the decision was final.
- Switch chance was 30%.
- Idols had a % chance of however many were on the tribe.
Season Commentary:
- This was kind of a mess, LMAO.... sorry if the season progress is hard to read <3.
- Tyler & Turkey very much so deserved their finale seats, and were an interesting duo to watch because on any given episode you could see them be #1 allies or just out to get the other out... it was very on or off and to see them battle it out in the finale after dominating together was fun.
- Snails had such a tragic run... rocked out pre-merge for his partner to switch and given him a second shot. To then get voted out again pre-merge, and then return to the game at the merge. To then ONCE again get voted out, and once again return to the game, make it to the finals, and get 0 votes to win. Kinda tragic.
- Delete was definitely fallen angel status. A successful pre-merge idol play, being the 2nd merge vote out, for her blood to switch and give her another shot, and then make it all the way to final 4 where she tragically lost firemaking in tears as were the shows viewers. Very very sad.
- Christians chart is very funny too, kinda flopped episode 2 getting the boot, and then his partner switching and him having a successful pre-merge run after. The multiple season rivalry between him and Kindred came into play once again, with him having a role in her boot and coming out on top for the 2nd season in a row. But at the start of the finale, he was just in over his head and it was a bit of a predictable boot.
- Most iconic redemption run goes to iCristian, winning every single premerge duel, to lose the final one was tragic to see... especially knowing he did not get voted out ever.
- Of the nine potential times a blood partner could give up their spot in the game to give their loved one another shot by taking their place in redemption... FIVE times it was taken (despite there only being a 30% chance a switch would occur). Kind of insane, and definitely played a role in this seasons messy gameplay.
- Quick shoutout to the switchers who lost the game w/o ever being voted out: Oswordo3, Demgirl6, Hamburgerbunzz, iCristian, and Batya.
- All in all, redemption made this season hell to do + chart... kinda a poor choice on my end, but kind of works better with the challenge series focus this franchise has.
