People don't believe because they say "If God exists, why doesn't He answer our prayers?" There are 2 reasons. One reason is this "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22) So in other words, you have to faith in God or else your prayers will go unheard. Also, your prayers could be contrary to God's will. If He answered every single prayer then you pray for someone to get into a car accident or be diagnosed with cancer and He'd have to listen. Would that be right? So if your prayers aren't getting answered, look at the above reasons. Just don't lose hope.
