So, my birthday passed a couple days ago, and when we went out to celebrate last night, my friends surprised me with a guitar! I've always wanted one and I've always wanted to learn how to play, but school gets in the way of everything.
Though, it is not my Thanksgiving - it passed a month ago - I am thankful for all of my friends. The effort they put into keeping it a secret from me, and the lengths they went through for filming me a video of all the people I know saying "Happy Birthday".
You guys rock my world!
So, the grads of my school have decided to enter a video contest for a free concert from Marianas Trench. I hope you guys will watch and help vote for our video (maybe even once a day?). We could really use your support and help!!
What a great 2 months it has been on Tengaged. I finally made 100 Karma points! I just like the number 100, I mean, when you see it on a test you start to freak out...but on Tengaged it's just a minor milestone towards bigger things.
I've had a privilege to meet so many people on here, and I hope to meet more of you by the time I reach 200 Karma points. =)

Sorry, to everyone who put their bets on me. Well, i know there were only four of you guys, but y'all still believed in me! It meant a lot, and i will try my best to make it further into these games.
It was a pretty intense game, i mean, being my first "long" rookies it was definitely different. There was more time for people to think, and to change their minds. Not saying it wasn't fun, because it was! Fantastic meeting all of those hall of fame-rs, you guys know who you are! (Yes, it was even a pleasure meeting you too, wwemrpeeps.)
I hope to play with more people soon! (school gets in the way (; )

What a good couple of weeks! Both my rookies and castings has ended, and I'm glad to say that they were both enjoyable - most likely because of the people. I met some new friends: trishytrash, TolisKalkas, Brandonator, gucci911 (congrats on the win), Uskyld, jenny_c, QueenDoe, icerage, just to name a few (; It is nice to know that there are so many sincere people on the site, and I am thankful to have met them.
Didn't place as high as I would've liked in both games, but that is okay with me. I got to learn, and gain new experiences - not to mention the new friends! I am looking forward to joining my first "new" rookies, and survivor in the upcoming weeks.
Hopefully our paths will cross in the near future!
P.S. - I was the first freshmeat to be picked in a group game! (Thanks Brandolicious!)

Just played my first rookies...and I think I accomplished what I wanted to. I definitely wanted to make it to the top 4 just so the people who bet on me wouldn't lose their money. I was actually quite surprised to find out that I had 11T$ on me! It means a lot =) It's nice to know that some people believe in my capabilities to win one of these things!
Overall, the experience is definitely different from a castings. For one, I didn't have to worry about people grabbing up all the keys, and there are also no challenges. However, that is about to change! The new rookies will have challenges and a jury. I think that if I had played a couple more of the now "retro" version of rookies, I would be more accepting of the change. But, since I just started to get the hang of things, I will now have to adapt once again!
I think the jury aspect of the game will definitely cause some trouble for a few people. It's interesting. I like interesting, haha.
The people in my rookies were extremely nice and they made it very pleasant to be around/active. Rookies are more suited for my lifestyle right now, so I hope to be able to play with you guys later!!
